Is anyone familiar with how to sign someone up for Medicaid?
PRDATR replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
She has Medicare Part A & Part B. -
There is a spot in 33 that has a few of them.

30 years ago a friend and I were out shooting and his mini decided to self destruct. Blew out the bottom of the receiver. He sent it to them and they sent him a new rifle. Fortunately he only suffered a few powder burns. Seemed like it fired out of battery.

Go over to rimfirecentral.com, someone over there will know something.

They said the area wasn't NFS.

Too bad I was in Tucson yesterday and would have been more than happy to have done that. Especially since I was in my work vehicle.

Congrats, great pictures.

New Mexico Quail
PRDATR replied to brademan76's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I haven't hunted scaled quail in almost 30 years but really enjoyed it because it seems like they flew in a straight consistent pattern. I always use #6 though for quail. -
Some neat little fossils I found the other day

30-06 Barnes Bullets Seating Depth
PRDATR replied to Wetfinn's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
They are a good target load. I saw a buddy have the same problem with 150's in a 300 Weatherby in the early 90's on a Coues at 400 yards. They just are too explosive. -
Without knowing what units have leftover tags?

LOL, Can't even get through on the phone.

2400 is the classic 44 powder.

I would not use a HP, they are not hard to kill so I would use a 180 or 240 jacketed bullet with an exposed flat lead tip.

Sometimes I think G&F could piss of the pope.

Make sure your vehicle is in good shape and tires are good. If you are going solo let someone know where you will be and check in daily. Double check your gear, make a list and keep it with you every day before you go to add to and check off. Make a point to stop in and say hello to other camps close to you. Don't forget bullets, signed tag, license, rifle, knife and game bags. +1 on staying out all day. Map, compass and gps. Know where game processors are if you are not going to do that yourself.

Anyone hunting 33 in December?
PRDATR replied to Ethicsovereverything's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
As opposed to driving in each day? -
So you're the one! JK. I just checked and got right in, but it still was quirky.

I have one I bought at Dicks a few years ago. It is just a foam pad and was about $5.

What trigger does it have in it?
