What bullets did you guys use and how did they perform?

Sorry for the late update, been real busy at work with the boss being out all last week. I did get a chance to talk with a friend who lived near Benson and has hunted 33 quite a bit but he didn't know of any places on the westside that held bears.

Good shooting. I was lucky enough to have taken two with handguns over the years. It is a thrill that never gets old. I have the general hunt this year and my nephew is coming out from NY to tag along and I can't wait. We have talked about it for years and it's finally happening.

Some big fish but who wants to spend 5 hours pulling in a fish? Use enough reel and line.

Now that i didnt know. Ill haveto look into that beacause mine expired and every dam time I buy a firearm through an ffl my app gets suspended for the full 3 days. Ifs irritating because my record is clean as they come. There may be something else going on like someone who is a prohibited possesor having a similar name. Mine expired 5 years ago and I never had a problem with purchases.

A call to Savage arms would be the helpful way to go on your question. That is what I also suggested to him.

Saw an albino WT buck in 29 around 1993. Don't think he was ever taken, locals knew of him though.

Just my thought on this. You should be ok to sell to him as stated but since he is an FFL there may be caveats to him making an out of state purchase over and above the requirement for him to enter the transaction into his bound book.
