I have a 1500 in .308 and have had zero issues with it.

Congratulations on having some meat for the freezer. My nephew was out this past weekend in Delaware County but got skunked. His buddy did get a rather large doe thought. He got a nice blackbear there last year.

So were you spraying oil based paint? In the early 70's I worked for a guy that had a few different businesses and one of those was spraying undercoating on cars. We used GRACO sprayers which were really easy to rebuild.

Back in about 92 me and a couple of buddies drove in through New River and camped in the desert below the Mesa. Hunted it for three day and didn't see too much so they left on Sunday. Monday I hiked about half a mile in and was on a flat below the Mesa when I saw two sets of antlers hauling bouncing north. I hauled butt and knowing Mulies usually go up when spooked I soon found them running west about 75' below the rim. I shot the bigger 4x4 and it took an hour to climb up to him. I boned him out and the pack back to camp was brutal. My buddy pulled a 5x6 out of there a few years before.

Good to hear. I know that even on regular hunts competition is fierce and sometime ethics aren't what they should be.

So, did they shoot it out from underneath the other hunter?

Great scope. If it is the same as the Z5 Series Swarovski offers a custom turret that is caliber/bullet specific tuned for that bullet which is what I did for mine in 168gr 7Mag.

That one on the left is a Collard Dove. Super rare to see a WW this time of year. I got one last year, must have been lost.
