Or maybe a little more teaching before hand and student evaluation. Sorry but unless the kid is really remedial or challenged there is not reason for that to happen in a wood working class. I took "shop" every year (mandatory) from 7th grade through 12th. Everything from metal casting to welding to printing and sheetmetal/iron working class. But my love was wood working and in my senior year I had two classes, one was cabinet making and the other was boat building. I built a hydroplane and my friend built a 16' runabout, way back in 1970. We averaged 15-20 kids per class, maybe your class is larger but there is no reason for that to have progressed to the point that the project became such a failure and resource was wasted.

Had it happen on an AR after a trigger job with 3# springs but only on some PPU and SSA ammo. Must have thicker primers. Also had it happen on a Contender but that is because of headspace issues with them and only once in a while. Never on a bolt action and my goto rifle is a 25 years old 700 in 7mm Rem Mag. Never had a problem with my handloads or any factory loads. The bolt has never been apart, all original. I took it to a gunsmith in Mesa a few years ago just to have it taken apart and inspected (for piece of mind) and he refused to do it, looked like a simple job but oh well.

The Tempe store was broken into after hours and they lost some high dollar stuff a couple of months ago. Monitoring company never caught it until hours later. Probably ADT (Always Done Twice).

Sent you a text. Chris Rollins at Rowdy Racks in Mesa has a tow guy. Chris is also the goto person for Superduty's. His shop is next to Caswells in Mesa. Chris

Christmas is indeed a special time, a cummulation if you will of the year past. Time to reflect, be thankful for lifes blessings bestowed on us and honor and say our farewells those whose time had come to an end and welcome the innocence of new life. I don't deserve a tenth of what i have, stumble more than most, ever wary. I'd like to wish everyone happiness and peace.

Great essay. I am pretty sure I have been to that building many, many years ago.

I'll be about 130 miles east of Hermosillo hunting a new area.

Well my Doc retired 5 or so years ago, well maybe 6 or 7. So since I never get sick I just don't ever go but my BP was high a few years back during a stress test so I have been on meds which are about to run out. I called the practice I used to go to, now in Gilbert. They said they aren't taking any new patients but will check with the staff and call me on monday. So, anyone have a doc they see on a regular basis they like and you don't have to wait weeks to get in and see, preferably in the NE Valley or NE Tempe/Mesa area? I have pretty decent insurance through work, haven't had a cold or sniffle in probably 7 years.

Yelp gives their office staff some pretty low reviews.

Nicely done, which bullet did you use? -
Look and see what REI has. I used to have an old small frame Boy Scout frame but I may have given it away. I'll look when I get home this evening.

Sounds like a good place to work.

Kelty frame, with a Boyds pack, maybe 2200cu". I prefer a external frame to have some air between me and the pack to provide some air circulation that keeps the sweat off. I have a piece of pipe insulation on one side for when I sling my rifle on the frame to keep it from banging around. This pack is a good 10 years old and is quiet but the zipper on one side comes apart every now and then and should get replaced but I found that spraying it with Pam helps out. I can pack out a boned out WT with no problem in it. I like this setup because I can put a liter bottle of water in each side pouch and empty it is about 2 pounds or a bit more.

Seems to have fixed itself, at least on my home PC.

I didn't know it came with such a short barrel. My 22-250 is probably close to 23", still fairly heavy though. Good luck with the sale.
