You mean that 50 Cal RUM AI Cricket? -
Do you hate the OP or something?hahaha!!! He does hold back on dove bites, not. A friend bought his daughter one for $13K new was why I brought it up.

LOL, I took one there last year and the fat pudgy guy came by and camped out talking to her every 15 minutes and she was only a 7.

The stuff from Kings Camo is pretty quiet and if you get on their mailing list they have some pretty good sales during the year.

I remember the old days when there was just one rangemaster and at time only a few shooters so we would call the range cold when we wanted. There have been a few accidents out there and a multitude of near misses like when the line was called hot with people still downrange coming back from the 300 yard target. I'm a member and try to go once a month but with so many people in the valley and more and more people getting into shooting I find myself usually only going there to sight in a rifle or shoot a new gun and most of the time I'm out of there by 8:30. When I shot silhouette I would go to the 500 yard range and take my reloading stuff with me and load from my camper shell.

Where did you find that? Was it hot, I like to braise lamb shanks in wine.

I've never had Spanish chorizo but if your ever up in Mesa the El Super food store has links of Guatemalan chorizo that is really good, more like a sausage.
-
Yeah, I don't like when it does that but didn't think it could be taken apart.

I didn't think it was possible anymore to get five miles away from a road, seems like there everywhere now.

My son gave me one a couple of years ago and I just started using it this year. One thing I found is to make sure I have enough extra plastic sticking out or it does not pull all the air out. I am just about out of bags too, where is the best place to get them? Before I started using it would use freezer paper but I found that putting meat in plastic wrap and getting as much air out as possible before putting it in a freezer bag will prevent almost any freezer burn. I just thawed out some dove that was six months old and was not burnt at all.

I would definitely go AGM (sealed) no off gassing to corrode terminals. Once a lead acid battery starts to build up sulphates (they all eventually will) the particles will fall to the bottom and short across the plates which happens more so on offroad due to the rougher roads. FWIW, I only use AGM batteries in my F250, paid north of four Benjamins for the Die Hard Platinums I have in there now. I used to carry jumper cables but now when I go away from civilization I take a jump box since you may have to walk for hours just to find someone to give you a jump. My present batteries are probably four years old but I run a 160 amp alternator. One other thing that kills them is short trips that don't recharge it up past the point of discharge during starting. I don't know diddly about ATV batteries so any feedback you get here or on ATV forums or shops should be considered.

Let's narrow this 6.5 chamber down (help)
PRDATR replied to Zeke-BE's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Call Bobby Hart and talk to him about the Swede. He built a 6.5 for the son of a facebook friend Dwayne Wessinger and they rave about it. I'm confident he can answer any of you questions. http://www.rwhart.com/v2/about.asp -
I'd opt for Mt Lion but it's probably going to be more physical. Maybe Alberta Black Bear.

I bought about 3 1/2 pounds today. I will season them tonight and work on cooking them tomorrow.
