Lance I'll take it "if" it is 32oz or less.

I would say that as long as you are only cutting wood you would be fine. But if you stopped cutting wood to say hunt squirrels then you "could" be cited.

Where is it going to be held at?

You could kill a buck like the ones in the first pics in any unit in the state. Those are probably 60-65" antelope at best and are available everywhere. Just find a unit with some public land and go hunting. You can still buy a preference point for this year so be sure to do that as you'll be opened up to a lot more units you could draw with one point. The unit I hunted was one of the premier units in the state and takes a bunch of points to draw. The main reason you'd wait for that is to get a high scoring buck. It's still nowhere even close to the quality of AZ as I truly did look over atleast 1000 bucks to find that one. If you glassed 20 bucks in AZ before season you'd find one bigger then the one I killed. The cool thing about Wyoming antelope is there's a million of them so if you just wanna shoot one then pic a unit with a bunch of public (or private access for a fee if you are capable) and go. You literally can't mess it up and you will kill your bucks. Good info, like Viper I also bought my third BP this year.

I will be tenting it at the lake and heading up from Mesa about 12:30 so we won't be on the rim until about 2 but thanks for the heads up. It is pretty windy down here today too, plan is to maybe head to Casa Ramos for lunch Saturday. I was bummed out they closed the one in Mesa.

Good to hear that and I see that it is going to be cooling down for the hunt too. I haven't had a tag in almost 5 years and nothing agin this year but I only put in for bull hunts. I'll be camping at Woods Canyon with my son (4A?) and hope to hear some bugles and might find some time to scout for turkey in 22.

Weather drops like 10 degrees starting Thursday or Friday!!! Could very well see low 40's above 7000'. With any luck I'll be up fishing at WCL with my son Friday~Sunday if anyone needs a hand packing out.

PRDATR replied to bonecollector777's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Contact the vendor. Who did you buy it from? I bought one from eabco a few months ago for an Axis and it is fine. -
Well if Red Rabbit will lend me a wide angle lens,,,,,,,,

Good topic and somewhat timely. I remember my BIL telling me that once while on a yearly black powder camping trip with his scout troop off the 300 road a guy drove up and came into their camp crying up a storm that it was archery season of some sort and in so many words made some threats and opened up his coat to reveal an AK47. Wisely he the scoutmaster and other adults chose not to escalate the situation.

Pretty sure that is who I purchased a vinyl tarp from about 5 y ears ago to put under the tent. I was pretty expensive but very high quality. I believe it was a 22oz one 10x14 and probably weighs 15 pounds.
