Not Tucson but I woke to half a tree down here in North Mesa. Never heard a thing and I went to bed about 8:30.

There is an Orvis store in Scottsdale.

Very hit and miss for accuracy and the factory stocks didn't fit me well at all.

Payson area rental for Hunt of a Lifetime recipient
PRDATR replied to tanclan4's topic in Classified Ads
I know one member on here has a place in Star Valley he rents out if that would work. What will you be hunting? -
Hardest part will probably compressing the bilsteins. They are a great shock I had them on my F250 for 150K and last year I had Desert Rat install some Fox shocks I bought from Shock Wharehouse.
-
This isn't 1983, don't even think about Rancho's. Either Bilsteins or Fox.

Congrats to the hunter and all involved.

Run your fingers across the fillet and pull each one out as you find them.

I checked yesterday afternoon at about 4 after people were posting they had results and I didn't have anything showing. It was there early this morning about 7 when I checked.

On my first ever Javi hunt in 23 I had my friends 8" 357 DW and it came out of the holster just north of Rosey never to be seen again about 30 years ago. I also had the tiger strip grips and would shoot right around 2" at 25 yards. Great gun in the hands of the right person.

That was William Tell actually. Off his sons head.

PORTAL SAY'S! 36A. NOV 1O. A bit of a drive for me from Mesa but plenty of time to learn the unit although I did help Bigbrowns last year on his wifes hunt so I am a little familiar with it.

I'd stick to about 15X max something in the neighborhood of 2x10, 3x15 would be plenty or at least that is a great range for that caliber in a factory setup.

Savage 11/111 300 win mag bolt question
PRDATR replied to Jazz's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have a Savage Axis and on it I have to pull back on the trigger and push down on that part to remove or insert the bolt. Good resource. http://www.savageshooters.com/forumdisplay.php?17-110-Series-Bolt-Action-Rifles -
Perfect, how much and where's it at? Mesa. $150, same price I paid BigBrowns a couple of years ago.

In for the 6' ladder. -
I have an old Winchester Model 1200 stamped Riot Shotgun. 12 gauge, looks like it was abused in a prison. Probably 30 or 40 years old.
-
It's not a big deal but here in Mesa you need to pull a permit.

What were those tests called where they shot goats to test bullet expansion? -
Hunting with a 9mm carbine?
PRDATR replied to Rock30golf's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
It's the no problem part that is debateable and than how far under. I know there was a Big Horn killed with a 357 in the late 80's but I don't recall the range. I wouldn't want to place any bets on it. -
You can ask on the "Arizona AK-47 / 74 & SKS" Facebook page
