Hiller Fotos Sandhill Cranes 2017

Juvenile birds have no red. -
It doesn't hurt to throw an extra pair in your backpack. I prefer to use socks made by SmartWool, pricey but they will last for years especially if you don't put them in the dryer and even if wet they will keep your feet warm. If they do get wet you can take them off and hand wring them out and get about 80% of the water out and they retain their loft.

I have one and it shoots great. I did replace the factory trigger with a Rifle Basix.

Any Sign of Rut Activity for Archery Hunt in Southern Az?
PRDATR replied to azbullelkman's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
Just check to see which outfitter lives in that area and petitioned the game and fish regarding the closed season in Dec and shortened season in Jan. Or have them change it so an outfitter can only hunt a unit every other year. -
Tis The Season. Right?

You should have stayed put. The animals are used to activity.

It has been that way since I started hunting in the 80's and you could get two tags in 29.

Cool buck, congrats.

Offered to bojangles pending pick up this week.

I had a group of 10 come past me up in Queen Valley last year tearing it up. Each driver had goggles and a bandana to keep out the dust, didn't look like much fun to me. I did come across two guy who had just bought one and flipped it up on it's side on the maiden voyage. I used my tow strap to right it. It was in a big flat area so they were probably doing brodies. They were smart and had their seatbelts and helmets on.

That's too bad he had a great run. PC stinks it took my SIL last year and a friend a few years ago.

The first Javelina I ever shot was with a TC in 223 at about 40 yards. It knocked it off it's feet and it never got up. That was about 30 years ago so my guess is your bullet didn't expand. I also took one two years ago with an AR at about 70 yards but shot it twice. I have used archery, 223, 22-250, 243, 357 and 7-08 (100gr). This year I will use 10mm on the HAM hunt and a new Axis in 243 shooting 55gr Ballistic Tips.

They are listed in the Elk Regs.

I went through about three sets of Nitto's and averaged about 50-55K a tire. Two years ago I switched to TOYO AT Open Country and I rotate them every 5K and now probably have 15K on them and have no complaints. One thing I noticed is the TOYO tires are a harder compound and don't get as much road rash when I am offroad in my F250 and they roll easier on pavement then the Nitto's did. These are 305/55R 20 Load Range E but I believe they now can be had in Load Range F.

ND Snow goose extravaganza!!

You know it's cold when you walk outside and when you breathe in through your nose and all the hairs instantly freeze. -
I'd be content with a 90" buck after hunting Sonora twice in the past and coming up empty the first time and a 70's buck the other time. Still, I really like going there. Both times I went 150 miles plus and it took an overnight once I crossed the border in the morning when it opened up so to anyone contemplating going on short notice I say you should seriously consider this.

What are the ones with the spots? Nothing more fun then topwater.

Anyone recommend a website for prices and availbility. Looking for one that can accommodate about 12 adults in the summer of 2019. I found one website and it lists the boats but everytime I pick a date it comes up empty. It would be nice if when I choose a month it would just show available dates so I could get an idea of prices.

I always wondered what people did with them after they were shot. That looks like fun, never hunted ducks or geese. -
Is fuel on top of the rental price?
