Help me decide on a new lightweight stock for my 700
PRDATR replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
I hadn't looked at Manners but after looking at them I am leaning to the EH-3. Thanks Lance -
That sucks. Where were you planning on going. Mostly everything is closed. We were going to go to Willow Springs. He likes it there and I was going to fish off the shore while he Kayaked. I might also get one this summer. On the way back we were coming up that last long hill about 7:00 and near the top there was a DPS vehicle blocking off the left lane with about 15 cones. Two women and a guy were standing next to a car on it's roof in the medium. It hit the guardrail and they looked ok but the younger woman was crying. That is a sharp S Turn on a downhill and they must have lost control coming out of the last turn and hit the guardrail and flipped it as the medium has a bit of a drop off. Lost of people take that turn close to 80mph. They are lucky to be alive, very lucky. It probably happened just a short time before we came up on them. A couple of miles after we past the turnoff for Four Peaks I saw an Ambulance and then a Fire Truck on there way, lights off. Median...He was sick give him a brake. LOL

Expect a lot of traffic coming back. Good luck. I like Power eggs. They stay on the hook and work well. WCL is my favorite lake.

I want a lightweight stock for my ancient stainless 700, aka The Anvil, so it may finally be time to get an Alaskan Ti. 10% isn't much, more like getting free shipping.

That's a pretty broad brush you've got there. Your'e doing a pretty good job panting yourself into a corner and showing your true colors whether you're just baiting or bored I find it insulting but I know my Navajo friends wouldn't give you the time of day over it.

I drove from Mesa to Payson this morning to go fishing with my son and only recall seeing one sign. My sinus was stuffed up and my ears couldn't pop with the altitude change and about by Barnhardt it go so bad my vision got bad so I pulled over and let him drive. Almost lost my balance walking around the truck and had to hold on to it because my equlibrian was off. Made it into Payson and stopped for coffee and a breakfast croissant at Bosa Donut and it was still giving me a problem so decided to come back down to Mesa.

Didn't realize crappie go so big. Good Deal. I might have to sneak up to WCL to do some fishing this weekend Just hate getting up at 2AM. LOL

Last time I heard that I was sitting at the counter in Smittys having $1.99 breakfast.

Does that count? They know how to work a putter.

I see it as minimizing the risk. Less people, less chance something could happen accidentally. Such as a car parking on grass and the hot cat catching fire like at Arcosanti. Maybe an engine bay fire, remote possibility but still could happen. Fire doesn't have to start intentionally or even through neglect. People are crying about not being able to recreate is ironic considering most only go once a year.

I would like to see the 300 Rd completely shut down. There was a fire by WCL but it only burned 103 acres.

Ain't gonna happen. Tonto is locked down tight.

Been the downfall of most. Few people, maybe one out of tens of thousands. I dunno know, maybe millions, can take a secret to the grave. But then again, just maybe, the further the deed from your moral compass the easier it is to bury it down deep.

Very cool that your son was there, congrats.

You can call the landing and ask what hooks and weights to bring. Keep a second rod ready for when the bite is on. If you get a rental the mates will usually provide you with tackle as needed if you get tangled just cut the hook and retie. It takes too long to untangle lines. Talk to your doc and get some scolamine patches for seasickness. Scopace pills were faster acting and cheaper but they aren't available anymore but a compounding pharmacy can make them. What ship are you going out on? Do you need a passport?

PRDATR replied to eastvalleyjerry's topic in Classified Ads
Give Justin Norpel a call he has a shop off Rio Salado and McClintock, 480-232-7709. He did some work for me on my sons Colorado and is very reasonable. He does a lot of trucks and 4x4's too. -
Bought it new in about 2006. I'd like to get $275.
