Between the slow footage and so called music I could only stand about 30 seconds of that even with doing some fast forwarding.

Hopefully you'll find them.

Saltwater Offshore 30# rig - opinions on matching reels to rod
PRDATR replied to Heat's topic in Fishing
I have had my Jigmaster for well over 50 years and it has reeled in a lot of fish. Everything from Fluke to Stripers to Albacore. I have a newer lightweight aluminum spool I bought from Phoenix Fishing Supply and I run 20# on it and 30 on the original spool but the drag has a tough time anymore with anything over 20-25 pounds. It is probably the original drag. I like it because even though my dad told me it was a "boat reel" and not to cast with it I have done plenty of 50 yard casts with it without a problem. I rotate it between a Gulf Star and a Roddy Hunter. It is a budget setup at best but it catches fish. A few years ago my son bought me a Penn 340 which ought be handle a 50# fish from the looks of it but I haven't had the opportunity to put it to the test. WHen it comes to tackle in deep water I would rather be overgunned than not have enough tackle. I would routinely read stories of guys fishing the Midnight Lump and fighting 80 to 150 # YFT for over an hour or just getting spooled on tackle that is not big enough. -

Coues newbie looking for some help
PRDATR replied to wyodeer's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Other than the obvious differences in antlers and the tail Coues stand about 36" at the shoulder and about 36" from chest to butt. -
Recycle it into block or cement.

Cant you buy a whole rifle for that? Is PTG still in business?

Couldn't have said it better, congrats.

Awesome job.

Good deal, thanks for "passing it on".

So will we still be able to access that area driving through the mine and across the little bridge and to the west into the old homestead ruins?

I had this 1 get a hold of me. My dumb butt tried towing him by back legs out of a yard. I shot him from stand in 5 degree temp and he then decided to go barreling downhill and crash against the people Volvo xc90 in driveway. Let's just say it's a good thing it was so cold and I had many layers of clothing in. I was kicking and hitting him with my brand new Bowtech Allegiance as hard as I could to get him off my right knee all the while trying to not slip on ice and give him shot at my face. Never again!!! Guess they're not so cuddly.

You'll regret it.

I have one on my 7mag. Supposed to shoot it on 13 power. I shot a Coues three years ago at 216 yards and it was fine but I don't recall what I had it set on. I have the one with the 800 yard reticle. I haven't shot it past 200 yards on targets. You can go on their website and put in your load info and it will give you the actual yardages based on the cross hairs. I had a VXll on the rifle for the last 20+ years so it was time to upgrade. The clarity improvement was noticeable. A year later I bought a Swarovski for my son's Tikka 625 in 30-06 and it was brighter and sharper than the Zeiss, but not by much.

Idaho, especially Eastern ID is terrible for tradesmen. Like it or not, unions make things a lot better for everyone. ID is one of the lowest wage earning states in the union. That's basically what keeps me from going there. I have been an IBEW member since I was a 1st year apprentice in 2005. There is more work here in the valley than anyone knows what to do with. My cousin retired from the IBEW out of Denver. Have a family member living in Larkspur, short drive to Castle Rock for shopping and resturants. 1/2 way between Denver and Colorado Springs. Bears, deer, turkey and elk walk through their yard on a regular basis.

SHOT Show Report Day 2 from Doug at Camera Land
PRDATR replied to gr8fuldoug's topic in Optics and tripods
I get what your're saying but it is a gamble at best. I believe most scopes depreciate about 50% after five years and by 8 years people are usually looking to upgrade. -
I'm pretty sure that chit won't fly anywhere.

My cousin has 2 tickets for the 2018 SUPER BOWL, both box seats. He paid $2,500 for each ticket, but he didn't realize last year when he bought them, it was going to be the same day as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place...It's at the Temple of God Church, in Torrance at 3pm. Her name is Karen Johnson she is 5'1, about 140lbs, she's a good cook too. She'll be the one in the white dress.
