    Moon Cycles and Deer

I commend you on your research. Wisconsin did a inconclusive study decades ago which probably found it's way into the articles your read. Deer will do, well what deer will do and their habits are predictably unpredictable as a genus and their geographic location. Specific individuals have been patterned and just when the hunter has them figured out they just disappear. Coues are just one of of 20+ subspecies of whitetail from Canada to South America so I would concentrate on them in an area you want to hunt and go from there. Target specific deer and not the deer in general.

I always take a thousand or two American Dollars in Mexican Pesos and plenty of US Dollars too. Stores? Not many around but take pesos for that and gas. I also tip the guides and cowboys in US Dollars.

  12. Very busy time of the year for me. Wish I had a few personal "Santa's Helpers". I bought this in 2016 with the expectation of starting a exercise regimen but this style didn't work for me. So, with that said It has maybe a mile on it and has been talking up space so I am offering it up to anyone else who wants it. If you can use it, fine. Know someone or a good cause then It's yours. Unlike Kris Kringle, and according to my ex, I don't deliver Soooooo, Here it is. I am close to Country Club and Mckellips No hurry.

    Mixing Powders

I don't yet own a 6.5 but when I was shooting a lot of 7-08 I always just shot one type of powder in the case at a time. Like Sean says, there really isn't much need for the average person to mix powders. Now my experiences with the 7-08 was pretty painless with a factory 700 varminter. I loaded 100, 120, 140, 162 and 168's and other than some 140 PMC bullets they all grouped well under 1/2 @ 100 yards with a few loads going .3 with W748, W760, IMR 4064 and Scot 4065. The PMC bullets were grouping close to 1.5-2" so I shelved them which was a drag as at the time they were cheap, like $7 a hundred. A couple of years later I loaded some of them up in 7Rem Mag and low and behold they grouped just under an inch. They just needed to get pushed faster.

  17. I'v had a few Tikka's and always use the Talley Light Weight Rings on the T3 in 308, a M695 on 30.06 and a Savage Axis in the lowly 243. Never had a problem with them. Just torque them correctly with blue loctite and go for it. Personally I think a rail is fugly but maybe it will give you more MOA.

    License Convenience Fee

I was in Sportsmans yesterday and asked about this. I was told that it will be $2.00 GAME AND FISH NEWS Dec. 11, 2018 Arizona Game and Fish Department Reminder: Hunting/fishing license dealers have option to charge convenience fee in 2019 Prices of Arizona licenses, tags and stamps are not increasing; dealers will no longer receive commission PHOENIX -- Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) customers are reminded that, effective Jan. 1, 2019, Arizona hunting and fishing license dealers will have the option to charge a convenience fee for license, tag and stamp sales at their locations. Licenses, tags and stamps purchased online from AZGFD or purchased at AZGFD offices are not subject to a convenience fee. A change in the law (A.R.S. § 17-338) allows dealers to “collect and retain a reasonable fee as determined by the license dealer in addition to the fee charged to issue the license or permit.” The law also eliminates the 5 percent commission that dealers currently deduct and keep from sales of licenses, tags or stamps. That means after Jan. 1, the dealers will transmit to AZGFD the full value of the license for each sale and the dealers will retain the convenience fee, if any. “The price that Arizona Game and Fish charges for hunting and fishing licenses, tags and stamps will remain the same as before,” said Doug Cummings, assistant director for support services. “Dealers will have the ability to charge a convenience fee, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will. It will be up to each dealer whether or not they charge a fee.” Cummings pointed out that receiving the full monetary value of each license will benefit department programs, allowing more money to be put into wildlife conservation. Game and Fish is stipulating that dealers who charge a convenience fee must post the amount in an area clearly visible to customers. To buy a license online, visit https://www.azgfd.com/license/. The Arizona Game and Fish Department prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age, religion, or disability in its programs and activities. If anyone believes that they have been discriminated against in any of the AZGFD’s programs or activities, including its employment practices, the individual may file a complaint alleging discrimination directly with the Director’s Office, 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85086-5000, (602) 942-3000, or with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Attn: Civil Rights Coordinator for Public Access, 5275 Leesburg Pike, MS:WSFR, Falls Church, VA 22041-3803. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation or this document in an alternative format by contacting the Director’s Office as listed above. Arizona Game & Fish Dept. · 5000 W.
