That's a popular swap for that engine to get more power. IH actually blueprinted these engines before they left the factory and they have timing gears and not timing chains. IIRC the only other production engines to leave the factory with gears were the 327/375HP and the 396/425HP engines. The transmission is the Mopar 727 torqueflight and Dana 44's front and rear. Not too many unmolested ones around anymore.

Is it worth it to put on your phone? Can you zoom in and out or see where you are like on Google Maps?

So once you get past the access into the unit is it fairly open? Just wondering, not sure what to expect but it is quite a drive for me from Mesa. I'll be doing a solo tent hunt, as usual. -
George Brasil? LOL We don't do residential and as a DDC Controls Contractor we don't scalp customers. Parts markups are typically 30% and hourly rates are about 60% of the big companies. We get most of our customers from referrals and treat our customers fairly. When a customers facility has a problem we usually log into the system and resolve it in half an hour. Facilities that are out of state or three hours away really appreciate this. Integrity is everything, really.

PRDATR thanks for the referral he said his rifle with 162 ELDx and RL 23 hits max at 60.5 and suggested I start at 58 grains. The inventer of the Sherman cartridges suggested 58 grains to start also, and max may be as high as 61/62 grains said he was trying to save me some powder by starting at 58 gr. I miss the old days when there was no range master at Usery and I could back my truck up to a bench and load rounds right there and with my Ohler 35P come up with a variety of loads. Good luck with your load development.

Mine must have been one of the last ones sent out and it was in the mail when I came home today.

WTB follower spring for remington 700 300wsm short action
PRDATR replied to Smith2260's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Cant you use a long action spring and trim it down to fit? -
Great scope, wish Kahles would make one more for actual hunting that wasn't so heavy. At 2#'s it's 10oz more than a scope should be.
-
Would make a great Tat.
-
Sure, as long as you retained the rights.

An energy efficient unit could pay for itself over time, in electric bill savings. Probably like 5 years. Check with SRP and see if they have a rebate program for that. Problem is they run out of rebate money. I would not spend 3/4'$ in repairs. Just replace it.
-
I would start at 54g and go from there.

Pounded them pretty good what bullet was he using?

The area I turkey hunt in 27 has both in the same area running side by side.
