If you ship UPS and tell them what it is they will make you ship it to an FFL holder. You will have to contact the FFL and have them send you a signed copy to show UPS.

Maybe he should get into building Benchrest rifles. Do they really use rifles that heavy in PRS matches. I don't know anything about PRS how do you win a match? Shoot bug holes?

Money can bring out the worst in people no doubt. Seen it with "Gold Fever". Inheritance can also bring out the ugly in people. Knew a guy who went AWOL about 15 years ago from the Marines, of all thing after he was done with boot and in for a year. After months he went back and was discharged, at the time he told me he didn't like his boss was the reason. I told him he made a commitment and he needed to suck it up. I also said what are you going to do in life everytime it's not all peaches and cream. Well he got married and had a couple of kids and when it wasn't working she left and took the kids from CO to NoCal. I told him to follow so he could be part of his boys lives and he had a bunch of excuses. As a last ditch I offered him the funds to make it happen but still didn't go but spazed out on FB about it constantly like an 8th grade schoolgirl. His Mom told me he moved back in with her and was in need of family support because he was living out of the bottle. The whole military bit ticked me off since I wasn't able to serve.

Some people just have natural ability, with that said, 90% of people will be a better shooter with more time spent behind the trigger. That time should be spent on the bench with an accurate rifle. Ability can also come by kicking up rabbits and calling in yotes.

Congrats. Brings back memories of my first Javelina I shot in 32 with a Contender and 1.5X scope, another solo hunt. It had a 14" 223 barrel and I used my handloads. Late 80's if I remember correctly.

That is a very popular hunt but not as crowded as some of the rifle or elk hunts. A big plus for you is being able to make a few scouting trips and 6A has some car friendly areas to scout. Don't rule out renting a truck from Enterprise for a while. Just stay away from the F150 as it does not have much ground clearance with that front air dam. Glassing will help so I would suggest you could get out around the hills near Vegas and do some so you get a feel for it.
