Once you are away from the truck, as in this case. You are no longer in danger. If you take it upon yourself to re-engage and escalate the situation by reaching back into the truck in the heat of the moment to reclaim personal property after you are no longer in danger, well lets say that it wasn't the smartest of moves. The threat was over.

Wow that's crazy. Glad you all walked away, were you wearing seat belts of just lucky? What is the story behind that and did your insurance cover it? Got any pics of the buck? LOL

What are you going to do with it once you get it out of the garage? There is a Community Tire by the airport that does good work and also One Stop Truck Shop who can possibly come to the terminal and make the repair there. What make/Year truck is it? I usually take Lyft and leave the truck at home. It is $14.50 from my place to the airport.
