They all disappeared about 1950 when they evolved. A few die hards made it another 30 years. Now they are all part time. Nothing wrong with that as they do their best to hang on to the past but succumb to reality in 2019. Kudos to those who carry the torch.

People have just become over sensitive to recoil. I wonder how men shot "magnums" without a brakes for the last 75 years and lived to tell about it. -
Looking forward to seeing the pictures. I have a few years on you and my dad couldn't serve because his two older brother were in.

They don't go far. Get out and scout. You will find broken bulls in every area that time of year. Get out and scout.

They know they won't all sell out even at that price but if they did and achieved the 5% success rate that would only be 34 elk out of an expected 40-50.

Well aware of the ballistics. Accuracy is remembered long after speed is forgotten. Good luck with the sale.

Condolences to you and your family Bob.

That looks more like pitting than surface rust. Can you remove the stock and post pictures of what condition the action looks like? In tip top shape you could get that and a bit more but in this condition you are looking at $200 - $250 as the 6mm was never readily accepted and short lived and the condition is poor.
