Well that's very cool.

I'll cook each night and don't like reheated stuff. I will however marinate meat for a few days or a week then take it with. Lamb Chops are good. I seem to never get back to camp until after dark. I'll usually change clothes and relax while the fire is started so I don't even put anything on the fire for a good hour. Once it's cooked I am in the sack in about 45 minutes. That whole Shepards Pie thing was something I never heard of until I was in my late 50's.

Every Savage I have owned shot under MOA with factory ammo including an Axis in 243.

My sons first big game rifle was a Tikka Model 695 in 30-06 I got for him about 15 years ago and shoots well under MOA with factory ammo. I had a T3 Lite in 308 that also shot under MOA and the nice thing is you can adjust that trigger from underneath without removing the action from the stock. I have only read of one instance where a person had problems with a Begara and that was on here a few years ago. You probably can't go wrong with either one.

That's a cool thing to offer azbirdhunter88. I'm in and a few of us could also bring a grill to share in the cooking. I know Big Browns has a portable Coleman and would most likely come too. I have met quite a few of the people on here and they were all decent enough people.

I received a Monthly Newsletter and in it they said that due to some recent fires at the range (very dry conditions) they are enforcing the ban on Steel Core ammo and the Range Officers will be using magnets to check shooters ammo.

Yup and that's why.

I'm sure plucking them takes a lot longer but it should keep them from drying out plus you can also inject a marinade under the skin. Last year the G&F site showed a video with someone plucking them as one method.

And they're all hatin on Israel today.

I know it's tough when a family member shuts you out and won't tell you everything.
