You are the first person I have seen who actually didn't know it's not "meat". "Veggie burgers" have probably been available in the supermarkets for a good 20 years, or more. The Impossible Burger can't be sold as Vegan because it's cooked on the same grill as the beef burgers.

They would probably refer you to one of the many adoption/rescue agencies since it's non-native.

That's great. lots of memories and nothing beats a good sunset.

Welcome to CWT. Coues are opportunists and will mix it up when it comes to terrain and like any other deer species they have bedding spots, travel areas and places to eat. Find the does and you'll locate bucks. Which hunt did you get? Have you read this? https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/units/flagstaff/8/

I have a Pelican case and put four Brinks keyed padlocks on it. I spray painted them satin black and to match the case. I went to a Trophy shop and had them make a metal flat black name plate with the letters of my initials and last name on the first line and phone number on the second line in gold. The tag is 1" X 3" and I had them put two holes in it which I put 8x32 screws into with nuts and star washers on with red loctite and also painted the screws with the same paint I did the locks with. TSA never wants to look in it, they just swab it, give me the form and has me open one end just enough to slip the form inside. Depending on where you fly into if it doesn't come out on the baggage carousel you need to go to customer service but the last time I flew into Islip on Long Island I was met halfway across the terminal by a baggage handler with the case in tote. I flagged him down, showed him my ID and was GTG.

Water can be key, especially the last thirty minutes before sunset. You did well for Northern AZ.

Who's getting excited for dove season?

Looks like Italian Dressing. -
No problem. You can probably sell the Accu Trigger on Savage Shooters Axis Forum and recoup some of the cost. Wealth of info on there too.

Keep the rifle and buy a Rifle Basix trigger they are under $100 and take 10 minutes to put in. You can get them adjusted to under 2#'s. I have an Axis in 243 and put one in it. https://www.eabco.net/Rifle-Basix_c_3745.html

Glad it worked out for you. I was a toe head until just after High School, and still have a few of those moments as I'm turning into a Q-Tip.

Whatever you did it worked. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the banter between you and your son today. You and your wife have done a great job raising him, he will be a great man one day.

Sean swap out the choke for one more open.

Miss my 10 since I gave it to my son and have wanted one of these. Sure like the 45LC, kinda puts the 44 to shame in the right frame but dead is dead.

Well I think you are one of the brighter light bulbs on CWT but why would you think WD would ruin the die? Lance is spot on about Kroil but the new WD40 Specialist is the best corrosion protectant on the market today and out performs everything else.

Do you happen to have any of the Active all plastic shells? I really like those. Simpler times, like breakfast at Smittys for under $2!

I moved here in 76 and I think the limit was 20 Mourning Dove. A box of shells was like $2.79 at Yellow Front.

Brine them and it will pull out the blood and most of the iron taste. Don't over cook them. -
Both are like women. They come and go so don't get attached to them. Value is in the eye of the beer holder so to speak.

GOOGLED it and found where it's at.

Re-post this in the New Mexico section you will get more responses. Maybe the moderators can move it.

That stinks. Was it in a pouch or just loose. I was with a friend in 36B years ago just tagging along and he lost his, Bushnell I think. We looked for it all over but could not find it. IIRC it was green so that made it harder to find. I tend to keep mine in the pouch and throw a business card in with it just in case.
