Those look good. I bought some similar looking Chuck Steaks at Food City on Friday. It is one of the only steaks they sell that still isn't mooing as their T-Bones and Rib-Eye steaks look like they only get aged overnight from barely mature cattle.

Mesa Library might want them. Or Bookmans.

I was in a store about 25 years ago picking up something from their smith. I hung around the counter waiting for them to find it and there was a middle aged couple buying a firearm. Counter guy comes back and tells the dude he was declined. They talked about it for a few minutes trying to figure out why. The salesman then tells him he can't sell it to him but he can sell it to his wife. I didn't stick around but you can guess the rest.

Whattsamatter? You don't like cannoli's?

Well I say go out early and stay out until 1 or so. Only way you will know what it's like, if you get stuck out there. Pick a day when it's not too brutal, like today. And head out around 4 and stay until dark. That is if, you want to see game get up and move. They will bed in the shade but get up and move as the sun gets high, usually around 10-12. They will also get up to stretch and feed. Not much different I'm sure then where you're from.

Pretty Sweet. Glad you're not closer. LOL.

What ammo do you have? Interested in selling it separately?

Having an FFL is a huge responsibility. Knowing when to sell and to whom goes along with it.

Smoked up until I was in my mid 20's then quit after loosing friends to lung cancer in the 70's. Never picked it up again but did enjoy some great ones back in the day.

Welcome. Not much here for Upland as far as opportunities go. Pretty much just quail. The only natural lake dried up years ago, and it wasn't much to begin with. While water isn't plentiful it can be found all over. Lots of desert lakes and quite a few in the high country that get stocked with trout. Haigler Creek is a good place to get your feet wet. We are in a prolonged drought. The Mogollon Rim and White Mountains are places to go. I've never been to Montana but it's on my bucket list. From the NE originally.

Leupolds would be my choice for a kid since they tend to be rougher on stuff.

There will be a few here and there over the next few days.

Maybe you can delete your post and just add to the other one so the topic doesn't get sidetracked.

I've been getting some numbness and twinges in what I thought was my hip. I made an appointment with OrthoAZ and saw an Orthopedic Surgeon in two weeks. People living in more remote area outside of Metro Phoenix may have a longer wait.

Post is over a year old.

Is that a wedge of cheese?

AZG&FD has pretty much succumbed to the fact that WS is multi specie impoundment. Small Mouth have historically over populated it resulting in stunted growth. To alleviate it they have done electro shocking to reduce the SM population. Last time was probably five years ago.

The boats are big so everyone fishes at the same time. Seaforth is great with plenty of parking and would be my recommendation. Close to Sea World and Motels. If you don't have tackle you can rent it at any of the landings as they all have a tackle store and renting is very common. Usually each boat will have 2-3 Mates to help you and there will be a galley with a cook. I would do boat trip too just for the experience. Ask your doctor to get you a prescription for a scoploimine patch and put it on the night before so you don't get seasick. https://www.sportfishingreport.com/charter_boats/newseaforth.php https://www.sportfishingreport.com/dock_totals/

Wow that is a true monster. I wonder what it squared? I haven't hunted around Norton Sound in 30 years. Jim Tweeto flew us there. Sadly he passed away a couple of years ago. Congrats to the hunter and guide. September is the perfect time to go. Early frost has already come, no flies and berries are still good. The tundra is starting to change color.

Anyone remember when there were no Trout Limits at Knoll in the late fall? If they do indeed use Rotenone maybe they can remove the daily limits starting in late October then treat the lake in December.

Woods Canyon might be next if it is successful at Knoll.
