Pages 10 & 11 show the live baitfishes. I see no mention of anchovies but I can see where using any of those fishes listed whether alive or pieces thereof would be an open for a potential ticket even if used as cutbait. https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/azgfd-portal-wordpress-pantheon/wp-content/uploads/archive/2019and2020-AZGFD-Fishing-Regs.pdf

Sounds like she needs to be educated between live and dead. Walmarts in the valley usually have frozen anchovies in the Sporting Goods Dept. They may have Smelt in the frozen food section with the salmon and shrimp.

"1. COVID-19 AKA Corona Virus. People not flying as much due to cancelled meetings, conventions and just plain overreacting. Feds are recommending that people not take cruises as they are floating petri dishes. (They will be getting aid of some sort from the Gvnt so that would be a plus for the cruise line stocks but who knows how much that will help. Those stocks down around 50% since January)" Have a friend in the medical field that is part of an organization that does multiple trips to Peru each year to bring medical aid to indigenous peoples. That is on hold as they do not want to be connected with bringing the virus into the remote areas. Another friend has had a trip to Israel in a couple of months that has been planned for a year. That is currently up in the air as the flight goes through Germany and Israel has closed their border to all flights from Germany.

Welcome. I would find an area that has some good shooting lanes. Pinon/Junipers with grass lands will give you some cover to hide your silhouette by sitting with your back against a bush. A cover scent like Hunter Specialities wafers in Earth scent work good. A small foldable stool to keep you off the ground is nice as each stand can be 15-20 minutes and if you site that long your feet can go to sleep on you. Open areas will let you see them coming in from a distance so you can get ready, let them come in as close as you can, within 30 yards. You can use a shotgun with #4 Buck or a rifle. If they hang up then shoot them at that distance as long as you have a good shot. I use a hand call but an electronic call has it's benefits and using a decoy will keep them distracted. I also use camo gloves and a face net.

It is at 81% as of today with more rain coming next week. Willow Springs is full and there is a lot of standing water according to a friend in Forest Lakes.

Love the 06. I bought a pre T3 Tikka one for my son at least 15 years ago. It is his only big game rifle and he is now 30. It is well under MOA with factory ammo in his hands. The 06 is incredibly underrated. Back in the early a friend built one as his High Power Silhouette rifle after retiring his Ruger #1 in 25-06.

Congrats, what caliber were you using?

First was a Model 70 Featherweight for $269 from a Yellow Front that I kept for a few years and gave it to one of my brothers. Then I bought a BAR in 300 Win and sold it because it would jam on eject even after going back to the factory. After that I Bought a Stainless Composite ADL in 7 Mag the first year they came out in the early 90's and to this day it is my main big game rifle. It always shot close to MOA even with handloads. In 2018 I put a Mavvers stock on it and it now shoots close to .5 MOA with hundreds of rounds down the pipe. As soon as I bought it I sent it to Gander Mountain and gad the trigger set to 3#'s and had a muzzle break put on it. The original VXII in 4-12 was replaced in 2014 with a Zeiss Conquest 3x15 and in 2018 with a Swarovski 3x18.

I have a 700 that is almost 30 years old and put a Manners stock on it and had it bedded. With 168 Berger HSM that shoots .5 MOA out to 400 yards which is all I have taken it to so far.

Perfectly capable of every bit of 1000 yards. I watched a guy take a Bull at 885 a couple of years ago with a 6.5 PRC that went 20 yards and fell over.
