The Wahoo was caught on the troll along with another one the same size on Wednesday. Monday the captain said there were 12' seas so we stayed close to the coast and putz around picking up a few Yellow Tails here and there until we hit the motherload and brought in about 35 in an hour or so. Tuesday morning I could smell coffee at about 5AM so I got up, got dressed and headed to the galley. There were a few others there and one guy said did you seed the dorado, they are all around the boat. I walked outside and sure enough they were plenty just swimming about 5 feet under the surface. One of the guys asked a mate if we could fish for them and he said ok and it was on. We were using sardines and also mackerel we have been catching at night using sabiki rigs. Soon the commotion woke the others and all 12 of us were flinging them over the rail. That lasted about 40 minutes and we probably put 50 on deck, most about the size of the one my so is holding. We also caught some during the day on the troll with one about 35 pounds. After we had breakfast the captain said it had calmed down so we headed offshore. It was sloppy and 5' seas with some bigger rollers and trolled most of the rest of the day with some bonita and a few breakoff. I'll see if I can post some video later.

Most of her FB Page is anti border wall. She definitley has a love of AZ and it's resources and as an activist has a loyal following. -
Good job Lance (AKA Key Master). Just sat around the ole casa today and would have definitely drove my truck and helped out for such a good cause. I actully have one of those metal cages minus the plastic tank at my office leftover from a former sub-tenant if anyone wants it.

May the fleas of a thousand Camels infest your wifes coochie.

I have Cascade Mountain Tech carbon fiber poles. I had aluminum ones before this but gave them to Tom Wagner a couple of years ago when he was doing an equipment drive. I think they aluminum ones felt sturdier.

I use the Folgers packets. I haven't put sugar or milk in coffee since the early 70's. -
I've had mine for 15 years and run it off a 5 gallon with the 10' hose and never had a problem. Stinks you are having problems with it.

How do you know it works if you haven't fired it?

Thanks. He was a bit older than me. Matches were pretty relaxxed back then with some shooters even drinking a frosty one in between rounds. There were a few husband and wife teams. Another name that come to mind is Jeff Sutton. I think he also shot BR too. I used to think I was a pretty good rifleman until I started shooting Silhouette. Whole nother game when trying to shoot offhand as opposed to off the bench. I remember watching Dave Tubb at the nationals in Raton. His knees were messed up and he had trouble getting around but Holy Cripes he could shoot, center punch every target with his Chin Gun. Kinda a dry sense of humor but a real down to earth guy.

He would always donate gift certificates at our HP Silhouette Matches. Super nice guy. I don't remember his name but the guy from Phoenix Shooters Supply would shoot with us also. I bought a 7.08 barrel from him that Griffin Gunwerks made. In hindsight I should have bought a Gary Schneider barrel from Sam Shelly in 6.5x284.

I would. Just like his little cousin I saw in 29 many decades ago.

And they treat us well. EZ money for them.

Good stuff. I picked up a bunch a year or more ago from a member here for 25 cents a round.

Five days on the Constitution. I can almost smell the salt water.

I bought a 700 action with the intent to build a 6.5 but this seems like a good alternative.

I'm more concerned about Harris pushing her agenda, if Biden would have chosen a more moderate VP I don't think gun control would be in the forefront but we will see. One thing about Biden is he, being a career politician, knows chipping away at 2A has more chance than an all out frontal assault even though the support really insn't there. Quantified by the "Run on Guns" mostly by Democrats. Once he settles in his focus is going to be Covid, undoing Trumpisms like stopping the border wall and getting back into world affairs. Hopefully the economy won't take too much of a nosedive.

Get a Daily Planner. I get mine at Staples, it's 8 1/2 x11 with a full page for everyday of the week. Saturday and Sunday share a page. The first thing I do every day in log in my start time and location at the top of the page. At the end of the day I jot down the time. It helps me keep track of phone calls and what was talked about, things I need to do like order material, meetings, jobwalks etc. Being organized is a really important.
