Thanks for all the input. I am going to get a new one and probably a trailer too. It will be used mostly for hunting at this point but I will probably do some trail riding and figure my son will probably get some use out of it too.

Killed my first javelina with a 14" scoped 223 back in the late 80's off Cowboy MIller Rd. That thing was a tack driver, dime sized groups at 100 yards.

Pull the bullet on a factory case and then chamber it and tell us how the bolt closes.

Love the 416. I ended up with a 375 H&H Model 70 because I couldn't find a 416 in my price range or even better a 404 Jeffrey.
