In what trade? -
I almost never use the same recipe and am always looking to do something different and I cook every day. I grill them, smoke them, cook in a skillet and sometimes finish them off in a skillet with butter, beer and onions on a low temp for 15-20 minutes. When I have the time I'll go to Von Hansens and get their fresh ground beef. I've yet to find higher quality at the retail level.

Love my Shimano's.

Man, you could throw a saddle on that one.

I'll hit the supermarket first thing in the morning when they mark down the ground beef half price and buy a couple of the two pound packs. I used to mix in an egg, some bread crumbs, ground garlic and Worchestshire and make a bunch of patties and freeze them but lately I just add a little salt and some Montreal Seasoning. I like to make them big enough so the fit the bun. I like the Orowheat Thins. I'll usually put on a thin slice of sweet onion and some avocodo. I like to make them about 6-7 ounces.

My personal theory is it also depends on the age of the deer, type of deer and the latitude. In this case this WT buck dropped in the middle of April 25 miles SW of Alpine but I have seen WT bucks with antlers right up into June.

I was looking to see how weather worn it was. I found one a few years ago on a spring turkey hunt in eastern AZ laying next to a fence. It was hidden in some grass and I stepped on it. The pedicle was still very pink and I guess it was maybe a week at most.
-
That would be exciting for the daughter. I met a guy years ago who had put his wife in for sheep and she drew and ended up taking it with a 357 pistol.
-
Did you find it in the direct sun? Lets see the pedicle.

BITE ME !!!!

That should be plenty sturdy using unistrut. I would highly recommend using locknuts and loctite.

I used Star Roofing in Phoenix to reseal the roof on our two buildings at work. Joel came out and did the estimate and one of his crews did the work. I called three other companies and Star was the most responsive. They did a great job and I highly recommend them. https://starroofingaz.com/

Electronic descaler for hot water heater. Any experience?
PRDATR replied to CatfishKev's topic in The Campfire
I don't know. I looked at some of them and the German one I saw has been around for a very long time. I wouldn't call it snake oil but I don't know of anyone who has one. The one you posted is not very much money so I say install it and follow up with your TDS meter in a week and then a few times a year. I'd like to know too. -
That's a heck of a buck. Proud stuff right there. Thanks for posting up some AZ history.

PRDATR replied to CatfishKev's topic in The Campfire
Usually installed on the main line after the meter. Just a WH not a HWH. Although that's what most people call them. Do you have a TDS meter so you can see what the PPM is? Is it City Water or on a well? If on City that info should be available along with the hardness on their website. City Water at my place in Mesa is 580PPM, Dasani bottled water is 26. Some bottled water I have tested was almost single digits. On Edit: It seems that SV water is 160ppm. Lowest in the State. -
After I skin them I lay it flat and put toothpicks about an inch or two apart on the skin then roll it up. I mix straight glycerin with a a little 90% rubbing alcohol maybe 90% glycerin to a little bit of alcohol and put it in a small jar for a week making sure the whole skin is submerged. Then I take it out and wipe it off and lay it out on an old towel and then roll it up in the towel up for another week. Last one I did was about three years ago and it is still soft and pliable. I'm sure there are other "recipes" and methods too.

Once the sun goes down the snakes and spiders come out. If the temperature is 65 or so you can pick up the bigger snakes by the tail, 4 footers, as they get lethargic.
-
If you make it up to Mesa I'll trade you round for round on FMJ's. I have too much nine.
-
If you're not going to reload and just looking for plinking ammo you can't beat Wolf or Tula. 37 cents a round VS 65 cents a round for brass case upper end stuff.
