We have been using PID's to control temperatures and the speed signal to VFD's for thirty years in the Commercial Building Automation Industry. PLC's use it in Process Control and I'd sure PID's are used in the Auto Industry too. https://medium.com/@svm161265/when-and-why-to-use-p-pi-pd-and-pid-controller-73729a708bb5 https://www.pitboss-grills.com/blogs/blog/pid-controller-basics-how-it-works-on-a-pellet-grill?srsltid=AfmBOoqFwvNIlABff0txATkgVb1HUQHskCZ32vklhTmJklhsZj7oYTJY

WTB: Henry Lever Action (Commemorating My Son Henry’s Birth)
PRDATR replied to SharkBite's topic in Classified Ads
First time Dad, Looking to pick up a Henry lever action to celebrate the birth of my son, Henry Knox (3/18/26)… something I can hold onto and eventually pass down to him. Few options is looking for & open to suggestions: • .22 Golden Boy (classic heirloom piece) • .30-30 • Any threaded barrel / suppressor-ready Henry models Doesn't need to be perfect, but I'd love something well taken care of. Bonus points if it has a clean wood finish or unique character. Loving some of the tactical Henry builds. Located in AZ, but open to shipping/FFL transfer for the right piece. Appreciate any leads…this one means a lot. Proud Dad - Derek -

Contact Henry and see if they can embellish a 22 for you. Might be be pretty reasonable and it will be one of a kind. Congratulation. If you write Anthony a letter it will get more traction than an email Maybe followup with a phone call and include your email and phone number in the letter and a picture of your son. https://www.henryusa.com/contact-henry-repeating/ https://www.henryusa.com/about-us/meet-our-founder-ceo/ -
Does anyone use these in an industrial setting, like an equipment room or central plant? How well do they muffle the noise and let you be able to hear people talk?

My SWAG is 233.

My buddy has a Green Mountain he bought about five years ago and is has been pretty spot on.

This time of year birds are always, A-L-W-A-Y-S fired up, probably moreso with all this warm weather. Turkeys are way more predictable than Elk or Deer. Hens are probably already nesting.

Thanks! They all look fat. As Uncle Ted says. Wack'em and Stack'em. Where abouts are you located? Are you using an e-caller?

I would be in favor of that with the caveat of letting juniors take a spike on a one time basis.

Boeing?

Vetoed the license plate too a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe Willy Billy will do some scouting for you.

Doug I don't know what to look forward to more. A dead Bull or all the usual great pictures.

It's big country, get out and lace up them boots while it's still relatively cool.

Mr Buddy Heater has it built in. But I still make sure the tent is vented.

Unless you're planning on spending a lot of time in very cold inclement weather just get Mr Buddy Heater. I have the same tent in 10x14 and wouldn't even consider a stove for camping in Arizona. I've use the same Mr Buddy Heater for 20 years and a 5 gallon bar-b-que propane tanks will last for two weeks running the heater from sundown to sunrise. Two cots with the heater in the middle and bottle on an 8' hose outside. I wouldn't want to fit more than three cots in a 10 x14. I've had this tent for 10 years and it is bullet proof. "If" you put a stove in it you had better have a CO Detector to ensure you wakeup in the morning.

Why not give them away if the seller sent you another set? Maybe I'm misreading something.

That scope alone is more than double what the average person spends on a rifle and a scope.

Easier said than done. Young people just starting out and seniors eeking out survival on a fixed income. When prices and COL was low (decades ago) moderate rises in inflation vs wage increases was copable. Fast forward and inflation plus rising costs across the board make it a stretch for familes to keep pace and save for the future. Granted, it's not quite a perfect storm and people are not looking for handouts. Fiscal responsibility is completely not in the big picture of politicians as they skim the cream. Show me one that actually is serving their constituants needs without having a hand in their pocket. They all want to be a Mother Theresa but once they get elected and see how much personal gain they can get by manipulating the system they get jaded. The number crunch is what most people do in their spare time without any seriousness, "I've got time, gonna start next year". Say you would have retired 20 years ago at 65 with $500K in savings, no pension and $2,500 a month in SS. I don't have to tell you about the price of groceries. Today at Wallyworld a can of Progresso Soup was $2.48 and a watermelon was $8. Food City has watermelons @ 85cents a pound. Those suckers were bigger than a basketball and probably weighed 15#'s easy. Sure SS dishes out a COLA, but it doesn't even keep up with the yearly Medicare increase. Which by the way is far from free and you better have a suppliment policy too so expect to fork out $300 or more a month. Need to go into assisted living? Hope your family can ante up $10K a month.
