I had the same problem a couple years ago with my 700 it had the lockable j lock bolt I changed the firing pin to a PTG firing pin assembly real easy to do haven't had any ore issues. Hopefully that helps Dan

the black stock came off a 300ultra mag when I put on a Grey Bull precision and Boyds I acquired with a 700 bdl 7mm stw it doesn't look like it has ever been used
