This is me almost exactly. I have threatened to just go camping on a Monday thru Thursday, just to get out of the house. All my friends still work, and have too much stuff going on to go. I have 4 brand new guns that I have not done anything with except to bore sight because every time I talk myself out of going for some stupid little problem or another. I will admit that at 62, I should have kept working at the job I hated, and I left too soon, but can't go back, so now what. I have wanted to volunteer with the Arizona Elk Society a dozen times, but the weekend is the only time I get time with my wife. Maybe we all need to find an easy spot to set up a camp and get our asses around a campfire and worry about the aches and pains of cot, mother earth camping for another day.

I have used Velocity triggers on many builds. I use the 2.5 LB break and love them. Price is around $140. They have both curved and straight. never been disappointed.

So recently I have posted several guns that I don't get much use from, and have become frustrated with members chastising me for selling my gun to a person who did what they said they were going to do and giving me my price for the gun. I was accused of being "Craigslistesh" because the prospective buyer wondered if I ever "get up this way", or guys asking me to come from the far west valley to make it easier on them to make a purchase. Sorry, but no. I once drove to Tucson to buy a gun that a member had for sale and I paid his price, because I wanted that gun. I didn't ask for anything from him! I sold my gun to the first person that arrived with cash. Get over it. To me, it doesn't matter what place "in line" you are. I joined this site nearly 15 years ago to learn about hunting and fishing in Arizona. Now it is mostly a classified ads anyway, so I am sorry that some might be sore at me. Stepped off soapbox

I humbly disagree. I recently made a deal with a guy, but he was going on vacation and would I hold the gun for him until he returns. Sure. Upon return, he stated that he spent too much money on vacation, and can I wait for payday. On payday, I messaged, and dude is gone. This is after I reduced my price for him, Ghosted. I bent for several of his terms, and then he backs out. No harm, no foul, but frustrating.

no deal, and no meet up plan. Just ticked that I sold my gun to someone that made a deal and paid cash.

30.06 is the better solution unless the recoil is not manageable, .243 shot needs to be well executed.

Guns with nice wooden stocks, like this one, just have soul. Love seeing wooden stocks instead of the plastic ones.

I have included in the sale, a new gun case, the owners manual, 2 sets of speed loaders with 209 primer holders, 100 Federal primers, and 100 Hodgon triple seven propellants.
