1 of 3 dune quads left to sell,....Anyone interested in a 2001 660 Raptor in excellent condition let me know. It is dune ready has 2 sets of new rear paddles T. Haulers and Sand Sharks. DG Nerf bars 6pk rack, Whips, Carb kit installed by Kenz Cycle tech. Been sitting for a full season. Was asking $4500.00 in Trader, Will sell to CWT member for $4000.00 (firm). Shortpants, we met you at the dunes numerous times with the Southwest group and the "girls". Trish/Sharri Remember Dan and Angela. You still riding the 3 wheeler? The girls went Harley and dis-owned us and they have not spoken to us in months. Don't know exactly what happened there. I didn't draw anything but a Kaibab turkey this year how about you? Dan

Thats a good point DTB17, the muley may have kept his genes in the area. We stalked a monster 2 pt and 3 pt'r in Jan pig hunting on the same hill the skull was on. But never got a shot. I plan on trying that spot again this year. The deer and pigs were bedding down within 30 yds of the skull. Thats how I found it.

Heres another from unit 23 found within 1/4 mile from the muley. Both were within 1/8 of a permanent water source. Obvious lion kills. Like Rembrant said "sad". Same one. Dan

No we hiked in 3 years in a row in the august archery hunt and the 3rd year we never saw it. And the chiggers ate us alive. But I found a few others just as big. From the same area. The gene pool in that area has always been good. I never get drawn for it though. This year I am packin in for 4-5 days in dec or jan to try the rut hunt. Dan

Hike into Castle Dome on Reavis Trailhead opening morning allow yourself 2 hours before sunup. Where the first fence line is and the dirt turns red, head straight up along the ridge on the right side to the top of the dome. Once on top you can glass some awesome country. There are some big bucks up top. I have major sheds to prove it. It's all down hill on the way out. Dan
