DESERT DOGGS , Thanks for the reply . Your statement about getting off your 4wd, I agree with. Me and MY hunting partner plan on going in with frame packs. I feel it is the only way go, to fully cover some of the canyons. The bigger the canyon the better .... good luck..
need some help, scouting past 5 weekends HARD, with no sign of any bucks . please help steer me in a direction other than south of 260. I am willing to do the work , I am taking my youngest son on his first hunt so I want to make it a memoriable one .

I have spent the last 5 weekends scouting this unit for the grey ghosts. To date have yet to see a buck! have seen does, elk more than i can count . I am hoping my fellow hunters can advise me to an area in this unit . please time is of the most importantance.
RED RABBIT , I have been focusing most of my last three weekends down in rarrick canyon and mullican canyons. Glassing sunrise till 10:00 am take breaks , sometimes move to different vantage points . starting again from 12:00-1:300 pm glasses . And of course the last 3-4 hours till dark .
need a little help from all you , I have been scouting very hard in 6a south for coues this year. I drew a tag for the oct 22 hunt this year. so far, i have yet to see a decent buck in this unit . Numerous weekends i have spent up there to no avail. Can someone steer me in some kind of direction other than south of 260 ?
