Alot of grown men these days aren't a good comparison. Some hire guides for cow elk hunts, lol. Being 100 successful is too often the goal for alot of people now days. Instant gratification. I get we want our kids to be succesful but they also need to learn even if it means coming home empty handed sometmes. Get him in closer (as has been mentioned) and hunt down to his level until he fills out more and gets a little more experience. He'll do just fine

Thats not what the topic said. They said can you surrender the original tag and then take a hand me down tag from a adult family member.

Typical government bureaucracy at its best. It shouldn't be up to the discretion from whomever answers the phone that day. Its either yes or no, circumstances not mattering. Make the details and qualifications very clear in writing( in the regs) and be done.

Yes! Not sure where things got so out of hand. Believe it or not, its ok to hunt for the experience and not to kill a "trophy" by others standards. Image and vanity rule some peoples lives. Keeping up with the Jones is not a good way to live. Pride cometh before the fall.

Funny that elections have consequences. Not funny is those who understand that, are going to be sucked down the toilet with those same idiots who caused it.

Oh this subject gets people all worked up on every gun or hunting site I've ever been on for no good reason most of the time. AR15.com had some guys from Alaska comment on a thread about this exact thing and they had some practical reasoning as the plus and minuses on revolver verse semi auto for bear defense. In the end they all chose 10mm. I've got a Glock 20 and love it. I think whatever style you are most familiar and proficient with, would be best. Hardcast lead ammo in any caliber or configuration you choose. A plus to the glock 20 is you can get a 40 barrel for it and practice cheaper if you wanted. I'd like the M&P 10mm if I didn't already have the Glock

So is there any known disease that would infect non vaccinated feral horses that doesn't affect wild life? Just saying
