You don't automatically become a resident of were you are stationed. This info isn't necessarily true. Duty stations can change overnight and constantly. Most likely were he is licensed is considered home for such purposes especially if the rifle is going to be kept there.

Remington and Winchester as well as Colt went bankrupt because they were all mismanaged terribly. How does a company, any gun company, like Colt go bankrupt in a time were there bread and butter(AR's) were selling more then ever?? Bad corporate management with no gun culture understanding. Winchester and Remington the same, due to the fact, corporate thought selling bad quality was ok as long as there name was stamped on it, no one would notice. The Model 70 has been great since FN took Winchester over. I wouldn't buy a Remington, any of them, made since the Freedom Group owned them. I'm kind of excited to see what Ruger will do with Marlin. Edit: Not sure if the 700 and 870 will return to there glory days. I hope. They were bought by another investment group which usually seems no good but this one apparently has gun people in charge so we can hope.

How do you know what they are paying to get it? My understanding is that everything has gone up from the manufacturers to the distributors. I know a FFL holder that told me he sold a 8lb keg of powder for $800 on gunbroker within minutes of posting it.

I am literally asking for a friend. Who, how does one report a taxidermy business that is screwing someone over? Example, took deposit and game and not returning calls, texts over a year later. The business is doing the same to others and has had a family falling out amongst each other and is basically defunct at this point. All the couple wants is there horns back at this point. Is there a state agency they can report them to? I have only had good luck with the limited dealings with taxidermist I’ve used but never dealt with this one so I’m no help to them. Thanks
