It's around 2004 or 2005. Not the newer heavier barrel

Any Preppers out there?
BeardownAZ replied to Coach's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
This exactly! Read about people who have been in choatic situations(hurricanes, civil war in foreign countries, etc) and they all say that those who band together as a community do the best. Besides, the more who prep, the less looting and shooting will have to take place IMO. -

Any Preppers out there?

Thats what you think. One paranoid fool with a gun can end that real quick and all the guns and ammo in the world wont bring you back. Last resort, yeah I think most people will do what they have too, even rob, but too not prepare and just think you are gonna take the easy way out and rob people from the get go is just foolish and wrong. Too many people think they will be Rambo running around the streets being some tactical guru shooting and taking as they please. It'll be far from that. Theres an article from a Serbian on the net somewhere that talked about his whole SHTF living when that area was going to heck in the 90s and how people lived and what did and didnt work. You wouldnt make it very long at all based on the events thereand how it unfolded. I'll find the link and post it. -

That's the same thinking as welfare leeches. Why work or prepare when you can just steal from those who do. What makes you think you'll get what they have anyhow? -
Yes that is true but putting weak candidates up for office we all knew wouldn't win is the GOPs fault. Justice Roberts was appointed by a Republican and look what that got us. So yes the Republican Party still has alot of itself to blame.

Your last part made me think of an various articles I've read that all say when things are gonna get bad, they will deny it the most and say more and more that there is nothing to worry about. Kinda creepy. -
No the United States is becoming the laughing stock of the world. And both sides are to blame! I don't know if the Republicans strategy of defunding Obamacare will or would work, however the people being sent home or getting IOUs on there paycheck, aren't the fat the government needs to trim. You think Park Rangers, etc, or better yet, staff that man our federal prisons should take the same attitude and say shut it down, open the gates and let it all go just to see the shutdown? A shutdown people think will correct an issue that is far more complex. A lot of people on here use a broad brush to paint all federal employees as deserving of losing a job. I don't understand that way of thinking. You think we can function without a government? We need an efficient, effective government not one that runs our lives. Change it, but shutting it down isn't going to get rid of Obamacare. Maybe the Republicans will get a clue and spine next time and not sell us down the road, and we wouldn't all be in thins predicament to begin with. I'm a conservative that blame us conservatives for not doing enough to stop it, I expect the idiots(liberals)to be idiots.

It's too early to tell anything yet, besides "essential" jobs are working for IOU's right now. If this goes on for along time, things will change. Unfortunetly entitlements as always are not on the cutting board so it will hurt more than help. Not right we can't enjoy our national parks and such, us taxpayers work to fund. This whole thing could've been avoided along time ago, both sides are to blame. Liberal craziness and weak conservatism.

Sloppy/ weird game ASU should of won easier but the last part of the game was terrible. Those refs screwed Wisconsin big time by not setting the ball, letting the ASU player lay on the ground with it(delay of game penalty) and then not letting them take the snap. Thought the Wisconsin QB was going to attack one of the refs. Crazy finish
-
The positive to that is, capacitors are cheap and easy to replace. Better than a blower motor going out
-
Pac-12 managment is terrible. They hurt the schools more than help with things like this. Then the deal with the refs bounty on Sean Miller is another example of Pac-12 officiating issues.
-
I don't understand what the QB did either. Thought it was going to be called a fumble also. Very odd way to end a game

Interested! PM sent.

I pinned it in the Campfire. I wasn't sure if you were asking for a separate subforum to be created for this stuff or just pin it in the campfire. I will leave it here for now. I missed the steak thread....gotta go find that to pin it. Amanda, Can you PM your info for where to send donations? Your inbox was full. Thanks!
