I have the Terra grappler G2 on my new f150. Like Casey said, nitto offers the most sizes on an 18-inch rim. Seem great so far but I only have about 4k miles on them.

I center the pin on the animals vitals!

These sheep are used to hanging around a mine with a busy highway. Game and fish relocates them to better rocky mountain bighorn habitat and they go find the nearest highway next to a mine (cinder instead of copper). They might be pretty sheep, but they're still sheep.

My guess, none of them. 350 bull is a great bull and very challenging to kill.

Truly sorry for your loss. Dogs sure touch our hearts in a very special way and Julie clearly did that for you. Like others have said, she may have saved an attack on one of you.

So the three year old ring is bigger because they are like a teenage boy thinking about nothing except rutting for a long time.

With a 300 win mag step up to the 190 or 210 grain LRAB to take full advantage of the cartridge.

180 days seems way too long. Big bulls generally shed late February or early March and are 95% done by July 1st. That's 4 months of growth = 120 days. Either way, great looking bull in OP and the bulls are growing a bunch right now.

If it's on Google, it has to be true!

The best advice I can give for you is to be flexible. Don't over commit to a certain area. One area might be awesome for a few days and then a ghost town just a few days later. All of the unit holds elk and all of it holds bulls that will hit your goal. Put camp in a central location that will allow you to drive to other parts of the unit. Good luck!

Clean vs. Dirty vs. Cold bore
kwp replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I've found after 20-30 rounds accuracy drops off a little so I clean after every time I shoot. One fouling shot and my most accurate shots are usually #2-20. I use boretech products to clean until there is no copper left. -
I've been a member for over 10 years and this is only my 476th post. That's less than 4 every month. I'm more of a quality over quantity type of guy.

Best camo patterns for for southern Arizona hunting
kwp replied to couesfreak23's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Any of those are fine. The main thing for southern AZ, and most of the west, is it should have a light base color. Many of the camos are made for the dark hardwood forests of the east. Those camos just look like dark, out of place blobs out here. -
This is real, verified!

There is a third component to antler growth where g&f is directly involved and that is Time. I remember a statement put out by the g&f commissioner many years ago and how they have a conservative approach to tags. g&f has deviated from that a bit but the core is still there. I may not be a premier member, but I will put the content I add up against most. Ding, ding, ding. Now we can finally put this thread to bed.

Like others have said, if you didn't recalibrate your computer for the new tire size then all calcs are off (speedo, odometer, and mpg). With the bigger tire size you are traveling further than the truck thinks so your loss in mpg is actually not as bad.

Kissing your sister must be awesome because I know hunting elk in unit 1 sure is!

Lots of good points above. If you are serious about a bipod, Atlas are the best.

You've got to at least make an April fools joke believable. ASU will never hire a legit basketball coach!
-
Shawn Miller may play zone but I have no idea who that is. Sean Miller, the coach at UA, is a strictly man to man coach and one of the best defensive coaches in college basketball. Hats off to Wisconsin, they came up big in a big game. For UA to even be in the game with all the threes Wisconsin made is a miracle, especially when you add in the foul trouble UA had

Archery Deer hunts north of the rim in Dec/Jan?
kwp replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Was thinking the same thing. When rifle tags are reduced to make room for the archery hunts will you all be complaining that you haven't drawn a rifle tag in so many years? Opportunity is great, until the resource is no longer worth the opportunity.
