100% muley!

That's because max point hunters all put in for the top hunts which don't even get out of the bonus pass. When the 1-2 pass comes they aren't even in the draw.

A trekking poles/tripod combo is something I've been wanting for years. I've considered buying a second Promaster to scavenge the monopod leg and replace one of the regular legs on my current tripod.

I've done a few myself, not too difficult at all. Then just have the alignment done.

Forecast looks wet up there for a while longer too.

Thanks guys!

I love your photos and stories and remember Rica being in every story you've posted. Truly man's best friend! RIP Rica. Very sorry for your loss.

Another question that needs answered, what do you currently have?

It's a real Pokemon! You are now the idle of a bunch of gamers. What was used to stick it to the rock?

The ELs are slightly higher quality glass but I would go with the SLC because they are a more rugged design. I have 10x42 ELs and have had to send them in 3 times due to misalignment, always fixed under warranty of course but just not as rugged as the SLC design. As for power, my vote is 10x over 8.5x, especially in open country.

I saw it on YouTube. Seems kinda stupid. Not sure what the point is.

Like Amanda I use a Promaster 325C and really like it. Lightweight but surprisingly stable. I topped it with a Manfrotto 700rc2.

Sure makes it easy to find the set.

Interesting, I couldn't stop staring at them!

Here's a couple stud muleys near the entrance.

They are considering a simple barbed wire fence a "vehicle barrier". The 56 miles that are unprotected don't even have anything to keep cattle out, let alone people.

I understand heat rays will always be there, but side by side when the ATS was unusable above 20x the STX was still amazingly clear on 60x. If it doesn't have anything to do with the optics, what would cause this? If they were side by side and you saw heat waves in one and not the other then it was likely just the focal distance that each scope was currently set at. The only time optical clarity comes into play with heat waves is that lower end optics are so blurry that the heat waves blend in with the blurriness. To the OP? Like others have said, get the highest quality binos you can afford as you'll spend way more time in the binos than a spotting scope. Then save your $$ for a Swaro spotter.

Anybody here an Exterminator? Or know of a good one to use?

Call Hunter Pest Control. Great service and support a fellow hunter. -
I also have an Alien Gear IWB and OWB. Great fit, good comfort, and affordable. One piece of advice is to put loctite on the little screws. I had one one my OWB come out while carrying. Kit came with extras and the loctite was a quick, easy fix.

Beautiful typical! Congrats.

Great story! To be able to move from your daughter while that close, you obviously had confidence she could make the shot on her own. Love that extra point down by the base.

I keep mine in my Kuiu bino harness either in my pack or on my chest. Typically my 10x42 are on my chest and 15x56 in my pack but sometimes I switch it up depending on conditions. I have a separate harness for each bino.
