I found this skull the other day, and can not figure out what it is. Any ideas?

Hornhunter, which unit did you draw for antelope? I drew unit 26 archery antelope again. Also drew the 2nd archery hunt in 21A for elk, barbary, and javelina. Little brother drew the same tags as me, and another oryx tag.

Here is the oryx my little brother Tyler shot yesterday morning. We hunted 10 days this month, and passed up several oryx in search of a trophy over 30". We saw a total of 16 oryx during those 10 days. With a missed opportunity at a nice bull opening weekend, Tyler was more determined to get another shot. We hunted through the horrible windy days and it paid off. On the tenth day I climbed up on the top of a windmill and not even thirty seconds into glassing, i saw an oryx about 1.25 miles away. We walked about a mile in and got within 420 yards. Tyler had shot opportunities at 420-290 yards, but he did not feel comfortable taking the shot at that distance off of the shooting sticks. The oryx eventually walked into 200 yards. Tyler got set-up on the sticks, and I told him to be ready. The oryx was moving towards a clearing but was not stopping. The oryx got into the clearing and i whistled twice. As soon as the oryx stopped, Tyler shot. The shot sounded liked a solid hit. We watched the oryx run about 200 yards, spin around a couple times, and saw a huge cloud of dust. We slowly walked up to the area we had last seen the oryx, and there it was….laying on the ground. We were both so relieved, and overwhelmed with emotion. After ten long, windy days, we finally had an oryx on the ground. Tyler is now 2 for 2 on off-range oryx!!! His first off-range oryx was a small 24" bull (3rd pic), and the one he got yesterday is a solid 35" cow...not bad for off-range.

Congratulations everyone! Jason you drew some good tags this year. I put in for 16A and 16B but didn't get drawn. My uncle and cousin drew 16A 3rd hunt so at least I will be going elk hunting with someone.

Archery antelope, deer and javelina. Brother got youth ibex, youth oryx, archery deer, and javelina.

Here are some sheds I have picked up in the last few months. The big coues shed scores about 47" and is probably missing a couple of inches.
-
Ya seriously! He just asked how good the unit was! How about some success pictures and stories about how good this hunt is?
-
I have a question for you guys. I thought when they run the the draw and your app comes up, they look at your first choice and if that is full then they go to your second and so on... If that is correct then it is possible to draw a tag like 3B as your 3rd choice if your app gets picked soon enough right? I am just curious as to how the draw actually works... Derek

That makes sense. Im new to the AZ draw so I was a little confused as to how it worked, but that clears it up for me. Thanks! Derek
