Great finds Bill. Have you gone out turkey hunting yet? Derek

Congrats it turned out great. Derek

Yes they do really wait that long. Before you could tell if you got drawn by the charges on your credit card, but not anymore.

Went out last weekend to do a little turkey hunting. Didn't get one, but had a great time. Snuck in within 10 feet of 6 javelina. They didn't know I was there until the wind shifted. Derek

Very nice find. Went out last weekend to hunt turkey and saw a big bull that still had his head gear on. Derek

Kevin hit it right on the spot. All I can really add is try to find one on the lower half of the mountain. They are easier to get on and not as frustrating when the give you the slip Here is a picture of a hunter I guided on the youth hunt this past season. Not a monster, but still a nice billy. Derek

Didn't get it this year, but have hunted Rhodes canyon many times with friends and family. Usually you go to the little briefing the first morning, then you go out (try to be one of the first trucks out is what we do) and find one and shoot one. The problem will not be finding them, it will be finding the one you want. You should have no problem getting one. Derek

IF you can get into the right spots, you can definitely get into a lot of birds. The problem right now is access to those spots. There are some ares you can still get to that hold a lot of birds. Derek

I have tested a lot of arrows and the 300's shoot better out of my bow. I shot 200's for 2 years and when I cranked my bow up 3 pounds the arrow flexed too much in the air. In my experience the 300's work better out of MY bow. I have shot 2 elk, 2 mule deer, a coues, and a javelina with this set-up, and it has worked great. I have read the chart from PSE multiple times, but out of my bow the 300's seem to be the perfect all around arrow, and they fly the best and straightest. Derek

I was up there today. Snow is about 2 feet . I think by those dates it should be down a lot from what it is now. There was limited access with my truck, so we walked in. Derek

Whats your favorite call in your turkey hunting arsenal? Mine has to be "the gobbler" by primos, "the freak" slate call, and just a simple primos reed. Derek

Has anyone ever made a necklace out of the tusks of a javelina? I already have 4 euro mounts, so im gonna try something different with the one I got. Derek

Went through all the SD cards and figured I should post some. All of these are from this last hunting season. The little bull is a bull we passed up in september, the pic was taken out of the stand.

One was a moultrie, and the other a bushnell. Derek

Haha And I also have some video off the cams of some very nice bulls. Can someone help me figure out how to get em on here?

Very nice, tell him congratulations. Derek

That is one AWESOME javelina mount!!!! A full body mount with the hair on the back raised up, and mouth open mouth would be my suggestion. Derek
