TJ thank you so much for starting a happy birthday thread for me! I love hunting with you and can't wait for next years womens hunt also thank you to everyone else who wished me a happy birthday!!!! My day was amazing and Tracy treated me right, I'm pretty spoiled! I also received some beautiful flowers from our good friends Colleen and Justin Leitner. Sorry don't know screen names! I am a lucky girl and have some pretty awesome friends around me so thank you everyone!!!!!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! It was the big 30 and yes it was a great and memorable day! Tracy (Gr8Whitejr) made it very special! Into my 30's I go I don't feel any different :D :D :D !

TJ & Peg, Thanks again for a wonderful get together at your house! The lights were Amazing! Also a big thanks to Amanda for the site, which is how these get togethers are possible! I want to send a big Thank You to Tracy! He has such patience when it comes to helping other people and especially kids! Jackson was so excited about the hunt! Wish I could have stayed longer and seen my baby boy take his first pig or deer but I knew he was in the best hands ever! These boys did an awesome job and I can't wait for next year! (I have already requested Jackson's pig hunt off , no missing out again )

Great story Regan! Randey is a tough cookie and I am very proud of her! Her telling me the story in person and seeing her expressions was so awesome! She is a trooper hiking all around with you, (i've heard about your crazy hikes) hahaha, but she did it and I am very proud of her! Wish I could have been there! Can't wait for next year!!! Girls Rock!

Baby you deserved that deer and you put alot of time and effort into getting it! You even took time away from your hunt for me, Thank you! Congrats sweety and I already can't wait til next year! Hopefully Jackson can have D's same luckyness out in the field!

So after dropping Tracy off at his spot to hike in I drove to our other spot and hiked in and found a nice little place to sit down. I waited patiently for something to come in. After about two and a half hours with nothing coming in and being by myself I figured I would just head back up towards the top even though it was still early. It gets pretty boring being out there by yourself and nothing coming in. So as I started to hike out I got almost to the top when I noticed some turkeys about 20 yards from where I was so I stopped to watched them for awhile until they past. I turned to finish my hike to the top and when I turned to walk away I noticed a deer coming down the side of the hill. I couldn’t tell if it was a buck or a doe so I just froze. It looked at me and I realized it was a buck. He flagged for a second but didn’t run away just trotted off. I sat down and waited to see where he was headed. He went down and started feeding in some brush but I didn’t know exactly where he was. In my mind I’m thinking OMG could this be happening. After a few minutes I stood up to see if I could see him cause I couldn’t hear him anymore. When I stood up he looked right at me so again I froze. He went back to feeding so I sat down and waited again. I wasn’t sure what to do. Do I try and move to get closer to him or do I just wait and see if he comes to me. I decided I better move at least a little bit so I did but not to far. Every time I stood up he would look at me but kept gong back to feeding. Apparently I didn’t scare him to bad. After about 45 minutes of this up and down he started heading up towards me. There was so much brush in the way I couldn’t get a good shot on him. He ended up coming straight up at me at about 20 yards. My heart started racing thinking this may really happen. He ended up freezing looking straight at me. I was scared that it was over and he was gong to bust, but he just slowly turned broad side and I new that was my chance to draw back so I did and that was it. My finger pulled the release and whack he hit the ground did a little spin then ran into some brush. I am shaking and in shock that I really just shot a deer by myself. As soon as I got my composure I called Tracy(Gr8whitejr) but he didn’t answer so I tried again and again but his phone was on silent. So I tried to call Justin (gotcoues), again no answer. I’m thinking what the heck do I do no one is answering. So I just sat there for a second then went down to see if I saw any blood. There was an awesome trail so I was totally stoked. I finally text Tracy and said buck down, buck down. He immediately called me thinking Justin or Dillon had gotten a buck, never thinking it was me. When he heard my voice he realized OMG she got one down and got really excited and told me he was on his way, which was an hour and a half away, and that he would get a hold of Justin to come meet me if they could. Justin happened to be 15 minutes from where I was. Justin, his friend Hank and his son Dillon came down to help me. We followed the blood trail until we found my buck. OMG did I really just do this on my own. I was very excited but kind of bummed that Tracy wasn’t there to see it all. Tracy finally got there making it in record time, 53 minutes when normally it took anywhere from1 and a half to two hours to get there. He was very happy for me. It started to get dark and silly us didn’t bring a camera so we took the best pics we could and did what we had to do and got the heck out of there. Tracy was so exhausted after his hike up, Justin and Hank offered to carry my buck out. Thanks guys and Thank you Tracy for doing most of the dirty work for me. I can’t wait for next year I can’t believe its over . Next weekend is all about Tracy!!!!!

Well Jackson drew the tag and now he is legal to hunt. Can't wait til September 30th when he turns 10, then right around the corner in November will be his first deer hunt! Jackson, Zachary, Mike and I all took the hunters ed class is Happy Jack. We also had a great time camping and goofing off! Thank you Lance and Carrie for another amazing year at the CWT get together! You and you family are so kind and generous! We had a blast! The food is always so delicious...makes my mouth water thinking about it! It was great to see everyone from last year that we met and to meet a few new people out there! As soon as I fugure out how I have some picture's to post as well! Tracy can help me tonight
