08.5 Elite Z-28 w/Crackers Strings -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys! Selling one out the bows in my stable. Its in perfect condition. I would rate it at 99%. I have a few different bows and this one has only been shot about 150 times, with only about 50 on the new Crackers orange and blue strings. It shoots my 360 grn arrow at about 318 fps and is very smooth! Its 28.5"/70#, Right handed and Camo. Bow, peep and loop only, no other accessories included. I'll have pics up later tonite. No interest in trades, just want to sell. $450 TYD

I'm considering giving up my Swaro STS 20-60x spotting scope if favor of a pair of Swaro 15's. Do you guys use both 15's AND a spotting scope with the tripod? Or are the 15's adequate for long range ID detail, etc. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I got my Minox 15's delivered from Cameraland last week. What a great deal on a real nice set of glass. I used them all weekend in southwestern Az scanning the desert for giant muleys. I was really impressed with them! Does anyone make a winged eyecup type setup for them (like the Swaro binos have)? I called Cameraland and the guy I talked to didnt know of any. I figured if there was something made you guys would know. If not, I'll be trying to make something up. Thanks in advance! Dave

Thanks for all of the info guys and gals. I ended up ordering the Minox 15's. Hated the idea of getting rid of the Swaro spotter. I'll see how the Minox's do for me and maybe down the road I can upgrade to TOTL glass on the 15's. Again, thanks!

Are you currently using the spotter to glass or do you have some other binos? If you can only have the 15s or a spotter, I would definitely choose the 15s since you can use them so much more than a spotter. Amanda Hi Amanda, I have Swaro 10x42 EL's for general glassing and just use the spotter to get a better look. I'm really leaning towards getting some 15's to use on the tripod while out in the hills and on a window mount when glassing from the truck. Thanks for all of the help!

Thanks for the replies everyone! I'm trying to figure out which one I would be better off with. If I get the Swaro 15's, I'll have to sell the spotter. Cant swing the $2K for the new purchase without selling it. I'm thinking that the gamefinding potential of the 15's on the tripod will be of more value than having the spotter just for identification. I might regret it but I dont think I will.

Oh boy. If my wife new I was telling this.....AGAIN.....I would be in trouble. When her and I first got together I took her camping up in the eastern Sierra's here in Ca. We would be doing a lot of hiking into the backcountry to fish the streams for native trout. She was a little worried about this being that its big bear country. On the second morning we were up a canyon fishing about 75 yds. apart. I was about done for the day and started walking down her way. I saw her around the bend fishing very intently. I started running as fast as I could towards her. She looked up at me and I yelled "Run.....BEAR!!!" She took off running with her pole in hand and about 20 feet of line still out with a serious look of fear in her face. I laughed so hard about that for about 5 minutes. She didnt. I know, I know. Bad dog! My other deal is to occasionally sticker my buddies hunting trucks when we're in camp. Ya know those truck stop stickers that say stuff like: I'm nuts 4 cowboys! Princess Daddys spoiled little girl Big rainbow sticker You get the picture?

Just got in last Saturday night from helping my hunting partner with his hunt. He took this bull last Friday evening with a good 23 yd shot. The bull trotted about 20 yds away and stopped and looked at us broadside. Johnny put another good double lunger on him there. He missed a slightly bigger bull (380 class) the night before as he had the sun right in his eyes and shot right over his back. What a great hunt! I taped him right at 368.

I think he'll go 370, maybe a bit more. Hard to tell the length of the mains from the pic though. Great bull regardless!
