  13. SOLD Selling our Rectec pellet smoker (name is now Recteq) as we have moved and are doing a dedicated porch/cooking area and will be getting the Recteq RT-2500 BFG to install in a BBQ countertop area. This has the upgraded-optional wifi shelf/controller and it works great with the dual meat probes and the phone app for checking on temps when in the house. The RT680 cost around $1100 plus the optional wifi controller, I feel $775 is a very fair price. We will continue to use it until the new one is set up and ready.
  14. $725 now... Going to be in the way soon.
  15. Might be willing to do some trading, etc... The big built in model will be here in about 10 days..
  16. 18 long years have finally culminated in a premium 23n early tag... With this being a one and done, I want to hire a great outfitter and have one in mind but wanted to hear what other opinions are... Not really into a big production and all the brand pushing, marketing, etc... Being 57 and having legs that are a little bit on the slow side, I need someone who will accommodate me and put up with my limited range of maybe a few miles per day, more if it's flat walking. And input would help and be great!

    Unit 23n early hunt outfitter

Oh man, not much of a story teller! The AZ bull was about a 250 yard shot, had to sneak up behind by climbing a small mountain and getting perched on a rock ledge up above it. HARD going for me! Double foot drop and bad legs. The Utah one was a short stalk to a knoll and there were 3 bulls and about 40 cows up on a large smooth mountain/hill. That was about a 700 yard shot and getting up the incline to it was a real bear for me... My son was with me on both hunts and was invaluable in helping out. He tagged out in Utah within hours of me. Hope to repay the favor some day when he gets drawn in AZ (a gazzilion bonus points, should happen very soon)

Not sure what dentists you are talking about...I was on my own with my son tagging along to help glass and make sure I did not fall down a mountain!

    Unit 23n early hunt outfitter

Went with Groundpounders.. Was going to use Mr. Chappell but the timing was really bad with us buying a new home and all the money being spent. I almost used my point guard (had 19 points) to save it for another year but then my son came along and paid for it all as long as he had the choice of who to pick. It all worked out fine...
