I like the idea. I think it will make for a better hunt for those that get drawn. There will always be other units to hunt in.

Hi Guys This is only my second time putting in for the New Mexico draw. What do you think about these hunts. DER-1-110, DER-1-158, and DER-1-153. And I know only one of them is for Whitetail. Please advise.

I think the G&f should get rid of the hunter ed bonus point. So many people have taken that class and now have a permeate bonus point, including myself. If you get drawn you should start from zero. Doing it this way would eleminate about 60,000 people from the bonus point draw. I also think 50% of tags going to bonus point holders would be a good idea. It should be more difficult for people who just had a tag, than folks who have waited 10-15 years. Just my two cents

Right when I think I am out. Done with hunting, put all my stuff up for sale. They pull me back in. Unit 23 early bull for me. Already took two weeks off of work.

What I don't get..... Why would they have the draw recording if the results are not out yet. I just called and got press one for draw results. Then they say not yet availible. Why not just tell you that up front.

I just called and got a different phone message but the results were not out yet. Yesterday it had the spring draw. Right now it is different.

I think it is in their best interest to have the results come out before the expo. I think more people will show up and the atmosphere would be the best they have ever had. Not getting drawn is a sad thing but something Natives are use to.

yes that is what we are waiting to see. I wish you all would stop. I end up checking the g&f web site every hour because of what is posted on here.
