I have talked to one, would have gone hunting unless I informed him of the draw.

DB I know you have a quad and use it respectfully. I just wish others would do the same.

There isn't much differecne. But are you going to tow your quad all the way up to where ever you are going just to drive roads. One question DB have you ever taken your quad one inch of a dirt road? I am not trying to start anything I have taken my truck off road a few times, but I am talking about turning around in a narrow place. not driving accross the country side. Quads and Atv's make that all too possible and in some cases too much of a temptation.

I say ban all atv's. For the purpose of hunting. I don't own one and never will. I hunt the way my father taught me.... by walking on my own too feet. If you can't drive to a spot in your truck then you shouldn't be there destroying the forest on your quad. I can't tell you how many hunters I have run into on their quads just spoiling the hunt for others.

I didn't put in for the archery tags this year. I will just hunt the area's with otc tags. Not worth wasting a possible rifle tag. Unless the hunts only had a small number of permits. If the Kiabab hunt was for 100 permits I would of put in for it.

I don't send mine in either. I know we all have a love for our wildlife and want to help. But filling out the cards only make the problem bigger. Until everyone fills thiers out it won't be worth it. The only way to do this is to make it mandatory. Unity is the answer here if we all threw them in the trash the G&F would have to do something out it. But the few hunters that do fill them out only enable the situation. We could band together and force the G&F to go to a mandatory reporting. It wouldn't be that difficult. Getting all of us to a meeting yes very difficult. But having all of us standing up and saying we will not fill those cards out unless we have to. Would have to hit home with them. All you have to do is throw thim in the trash. Just my two cents.

I use the gaiters. I only wish I could wear them with shorts. It gets a little hot out there in the summer time. Last year I came accross about 10 snakes. I won't go out without them in the summer time.

does anyone know when the deer regs will be on the internet?

There will be even more people in 23 now that you can't hunt the other units. I would of like to see that unit go to a draw as well.

The reason for the poll was to find out what was the all around best power. Just as coues and sheep said. If you could only buy one pair. I know 15's are great but they don't work in thick timber.
