Got drawn for coyote again. What's wrong when you miss a 75% draw two consecutive years?

    Draw Results Available Online

No deer tag this year, which goes quite well with no elk tag. But, there are some first come tags and archery! And I got fall piggylina and turkey. Also, does anyone know that G&F plans to do with on-line tags that don't get paid for. I wonder if they'll continue down the list should that scenario happen. Continued good luck to all those drawn. RR.

    Antelope seminar

Josh, I was drawn last year for the 1st time (muzzleloader 2B), and attended the seminar at Sportsman's Warehouse in Phoenix. I drove there from Yuma and back the same night to attend, about a 400 mile round trip. I learned a lot at the seminar, having never hunted antelope before. I actually feel that the pointers I picked up made the hunt successful. There were speakers from AZGF, archery antelope record holders, and guides. It was put on by the Antelope Foundation, and was very well done. AZGF did not have a rep there for the unit I would be hunting, but they were able to give me phone numbers and names of the unit AZGF folks. I called them and picked their brains about the unit and animals, as I had never hunted that unit before. My recommendation would be to do everything possible to help your hunt be successful, and scout thoroughly. You have a tag that only comes around every several years. My hunting partner was last drawn in 1976...I've been a bit luckier as I only had 7 bonus points when I got drawn. Good luck, and have fun! Rod.

    arizona draw

The AZGFD website has been updated since yesterday, it now lists 2005 FALL RESULTS, but when you enter your SSN and DOB, it states "results not available." What a tease!!! Sounds like we're getting closer to knowing though... Rod.

    Earth First!

Check out this link: http://arizona.indymedia.org/news/2005/06/27962.php Pay particular attention to the closing comments. These guys will try to screw up your hunt. If you have the unfortunate luck to share the field with them, be careful, they have been known to take direct action against those who don't share their views. Do a web search on Rodney Coronado, the convicted felon and arsonist who wrote the above article, and was in the field protesting the prairie dog hunt. Not someone I'd care to camp next to... Oh yeah, and he's a Tucson resident. Be safe.

    36B 2003 PICS

<<now i found a place in unit 33 we call happier valley, we glassed up more bucks in 1 day than i ever have any where>> Hey HICAP, I've got a November whitetail tag in 33 (23 days away, but who's counting). I've found a few "semi-happy" valleys, but am always looking for more spots. We'll be camped near Peppersauce, let me know if you'll be in the neighborhood, extra eyes are always welcome. Rod.

    Another hit coming to USO

I don't see where anyone has mentioned USO's recommendations (last paragraph of the their letter) to their clients to score a free Arizona Elk Society raffle ticket. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle goes toward elk projects, water projects, habitat, etc. The money benefits Arizona elk, period. Due to postal regulations the Society has to give a free ticket to anyone who requests one in writing, which is what USO recommends their clients do. This is another blatant example of USO's total disregard for wildlife, conservation efforts, and Arizona. Please send USO's sponsors an e-mail asking them to drop any sponsorship of USO. Thanks, Rod. (Can't wait for Nov., I've got a unit 33 whitetail tag...)
