My avatar. Just a little 3 point coues but it was my first archery buck ever. I have killed 4 pigs a cow and last week a bull with my bow. Getting that coues with the bow was evading me so I had to reach out further to finally get one.

This will get ugly. I have a feeling ethics will be questioned. I have an 80 yard pin so 80 I am shooting. As for the other questions, I will shoot 100 yard shots but would rather not. That being said my longest confirmed archery kill is 105 yards.

Nice buck! Congrats! Getting anything on your own makes it more rewarding. Sure is nice having buddies or family around to share the thrill with though.

I think the fact that the guy was hunting gives him the right to turn it off. Had he not been hunting then he would have been wrong. I would not want to sit somewhere on my hunt with a camera going off or the fear of someone coming to check the cam while I am sitting there. I dont think anyone should put cameras out on a tank during a hunt.

I just came back from 11M helping my cousin on his bull hunt. We never even saw an elk. We tried calling but never had any response. It was pretty bad! Anyone seen or heard anything around there?

+1 I would be mad if someone did that but whats the point of the post? If someone knows the guys are you going to go do something about it? People are going to mess with the cameras and there is nothing you can do about it. I would be thankful it wasn't stolen. Next time try a lock box. If you are going to get upset that someone turns it off then do your best to prevent it. There was a post with a guy that makes camo cameras that look great! I would look into that.

They are really busy but I think they get simple orders done first like guys that just want burger. If you are having them make jerky or any sausages it will take them longer.

I got my november archery bull on friday evening! Me and the whale set up on a spring after John spotted the bull down the hill. We set up in an old blind and got ready, after about 20 mins or so the bull came in to the right and worked his way right in front of us to drink. After drinking he started up the other side of the spring and I drew back. I whispered for John to call and he let out a squeaky cow call that did the job. I thumped his at 25yrds with my switchback xt! Heck of a pack out! No fun gettin turned around in the dark up on the rim! Anyways thats my first archery bull, no trophy but I am thrilled with him for a november archery bull. Thanks to the whale, best caller I ever knew! Whaley got his too after I had to leave but I'm sure he will post it soon. Congrats to him on his slam! Archery pig, deer, turkey, and bull this year for him!
