I would also throw out some sweet feed. just make one area more attractive to the deer and they should start to use that trail more frequently.

Awesome hunt and great bull! Congrats to all involved. Im not sure I enjoyed the story as much as you enjoyed the hunt but I did enjoy it. Would have like to seen it in person though!

Another good laugh was on a dove hunt in the desert. I had shot a rattler that scarred the heck outta me and they take a long time to stop moving around. My cousin grabs it sneeks up behind my other cousin and draps it around his shoulders. My cousin didn't seem to know it was a snake on him but once the snake moved he quickly realized what it was and freaked out! He had a shotgun that he swung out and made everyone else jump out of the way while laughing hysterically! It was great!

Don't tell your cousin she thinks I am working long days but I think she has a hunch since the binos are always in the truck on my dash. Now that sounds like a good job to me. How do you get any work done with the game that close? That would drive me nuts. I would definately get fired for sure. TJ Well when your boss is yourself you dont get fired or when your boss is a hunting addict like yourself you find yourself working less and talking about hunting more! Great job!

Well Im sure you will get some really good stories here. I dont have anything great, but a few years back on my cow elk hunt I was sitting in a blind with my cousin. I would look back at him and say something was coming then draw my bow back like I was about to shoot something. He got excited every time! Then the last 10 mins of light I heard something coming in and it was a cow. I drew back and shot it. He jumped up and thought I had shot at a rabbit or something just assuming that when I drew back there was nothing there and it was a trick. Kinda like the boy who cried wolf story.

I am not sure why I'm admitting to being a skins fan but I am. Just reminding you that the giants only beat the skins by 6 so Im counting them out for NFC championship. I like the saints there. I think everyone thats not a bears fan loves favre myself included. Vikes should be the team to beat in the NFC. Ravens are the team to beat in all the NFL though. Playoffs... Now that the august season is over and I need new broadheads I was curious what everyone's opinion was? I shot wac em's and thought they were great but cant find them any more. I have rage broadheads for my elk hunt in november but Im not too big on spending that much again. Anyways any input is appreciated. Thanks!
