It was basically a DIY hunt we had a cook and the ranch hands helped get the deer out. We were hunting 150 miles East of Hermosillo. -

In the latest issue of the Pope and Young publication one of the board members wrote an article about how gross scores do not give the animal or the hunter the credit they deserve. He was particularly referring to the scores posted in most hunting magazines at the end of an article. I am a member of the club and I am not sure I understand how you could make that assumption. I realize the club has rules that have been established for a very long time, however I feel the club is going to loose membership over time due to the fact that a large number of today's bowhunters favor the bigger number which is gross score. I personally know more than a dozen bowhunters who will never enter anything in the record book because they do not care for the net score. The club has always been a good old boy club but times are changing and the younger generation are the ones who will be carrying on the tradition. I support gross personally what do you support? There have been a lot of great points made. I do think it is important to have record book clubs because they fight for hunters rights at local, state and federal levels which I think is very important. Brian

Outdoorsmans Medium length tripod with center post extension. I am looking to get a taller tripod so I will be parting with my medium length outdoorsmans tripod. New this tripod is $369.00 and the center post extension is $110.00. I am asking $325.00. Send me a PM if interested. This was the first tripod designed by the Outdoorsmans and is still the best seller. When compressed it measures 18.5", fully extended it reaches 44". With the Outdoorsmans Long Center Post Extension(purchased separately for $110.99) you can achieve a height of over 60". Proudly made in the USA.
