I hit chest today. I’ve been really consistent for like the last 5 years. I haven’t really made any gains for the last 4 years though haha.

My son is trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life. He is not really interested in going to college. He has been toying with the idea of trade schools and has interest in becoming an electrician. There is a four year program in Idaho that gives you all the schooling.while simultaneously working under a journeyman to get OJT. The program prepares you to pass the Idaho journeyman exam. He has some connections in Idaho that would help him with a place to live, but his end goal would be to get back to Arizona and work here. I’m assuming he could just take the Arizona licensing exam after completing the school and OJT. I know next to nothing about this kind of stuff. Any opinions from Cwt electricians? Seems like a pretty efficient way to do it in my limited research.

Update on this since it got bumped. my son decided to stay in AZ and started the apprenticeship program through the union in Tucson. He started working this summer and school just stared a few weeks ago. so far it is going well. Thanks again for all the advice and suggestions

In the market to upgrade my rangefinder. Been using a Leica for years and it has worked flawlessly but only out to about 7-800 yards. I really want something that gives a ballistic solution and has environmental sensors on board. Im considering sig kilo5k, sig kilo 8k, revic br4. I really like the leica 2800.com too but I don’t want to buy and carry a kestrel The revic is my top choice but it’s a lot of money. Kinda leaning towards the sig 5k because it has the best price and seems like it will get the job done for half the price of the revic

I’ll be in a red bass tracker with my yellow lab. Flag me down and give me the fishing report if you see me.

I’m headed to the lake today. Hope I can find them.

I love yellowtail. Probably my favorite fish to eat. You can cook it pretty much anyway you want and it will be good.
-
Ya my first trip with them and it was a good boat and Mike was a good captain. I wanna go again so bad.
-
Our trip was almost a bust. Bad winds big seas. And couldn’t find fish. We didn’t have anything except a couple of dodos on the troll until the last hour finally found some fish. It only takes one good stop to make the trip.

Doing a 1.5 day on the relentless Saturday. Really hoping for some yellowtail.

Saddles are SPF to Fern’s friend. Thanks Fern.

Looking to get out of the pack goat game. I have two saddles with pannier bags and saddle pads. I also have at least 1 waterproof pannier cover. I should have another somewhere if I can find it. I paid over $1000 for this stuff and only used it a couple of times. If you are thinking about getting into pack goats, this is quality gear at half price. $500 firm.

19 years in august. Crazy

I was a strelok user also. Been playing with the Hornady app and 4dof calculator. Seems pretty good.
-
I went ahead and ordered the sig 5k. Looking forward to trying it out

Depends on the goat and conditioning. Roughly 30-40% of body weight is typical
-
Goats may be available too. They would definitely need to be conditioned. They have just sat around and got fat for the last 2 years.

Ya I’m still at it. Making small gains just trying to stay consistent and keep up the intensity instead of just going through the motions. Was doing prison workouts in our little tent gym at work. It finally got too hot for me and went back to my gym. 108* with the ac on was brutal. Would almost blackout after a set of squats. Feels like cheating now at a normal gym with actual climate control.

I’ve been up here since Sunday. I’m hunting 27 and my buddy is in 1. Definitely has been tougher than usual for us. Finally got one to come in this morning but never had a good shot. Gobbling was over by 545 for me this morning. Seen several Toms that were already with hens too.

Good stuff right there.

Auto shop recommendations in Tucson/Marana area??
AZ RANGER replied to CraigK's topic in The Campfire
I’ve used Douglas automotive a couple of times for my wife’s car and been happy. I’ve also used pierce auto several times for my diesel truck and he’s been good to me.
