Clint I might be interested in the pack if it fits. When Can I check it out.

This was a busy little sucker before I finally caught him. It is amazing how much crap they can move in one night.
-
Is that coues bone from this year? Seems early, but they look fresh.
-
Looks delicious, that is one of my favorite meals.
-
Yes, Cluffs should have been stocked yesterday too.

The lake was stoked with 1450 trout this afternoon. I snuck out for a few minuets after work with the boys. They managed to get a couple, but we ran out of light pretty quick. The ducks and egrets were getting a limit though. My oldest boy Hunter with his catch. Rusten's catch

Yeah the open hood did not slow him down much. It helps if you put a light under the hood though, they like it dark. Amanda I do have a lot of videos maybe ill play around with it sometime

I was wondering about the orange thing too. it was a good show I dvrd it and just now watched it. Now I am all jacked up for the Aug archery hunt. Its gonna be a long spring and summer though.

WOW!!! Dandy bucks!

Here is a link to the trip we did this summer. I LOVE floating down the river. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...c=19321&hl= I prefer inflateable Kayaks but rafts work well too. Google AIRE products they are great but expensive. As far as gear goes I usually take the kitchen sink. These boats can handle a lot of weight and it is nice to be comfortable. Just get a couple of good waterproof bags and stick your sleeping gear and dry clothes in. Bungee everything down tight and make sure it will stay put if you roll.(you will) Also find clothes that dry quickly. We will be going again this year in the spring/summer. Your welcome to tag along with us on our trip if you like.

Congrats, on a dream come true!
-
No Sorry, I traded it for a 4runner about 2 months ago. I miss it already

I hate to get rid of my baby but I just don't use it much anymore. Asking $4500 obo will trade up or down for ??? Looking for smaller vehicle, would consider anything with 4 cyl. maybe 6 cyl. Would prefer a small 4x4 nissan or toyota truck, but I would consider a car too. If cash deal is made through this site I will give $100 to CWT.com Can give full details but the basics are: TBI 350, SM465 Manual Trannsmission, NP 208 SYE, Dana 44 front, 14 bolt rear, Custom rear driveshaft, and crossover steering. Runs Good, No Mechanical issues. Some minor leaks but nothing you would not expect for a 22 year old vehicle.

Well done Matt, Congrats on a fine deer. I hope my boys are telling stories like yours in the next few years.

School me on socks, liners, insoles, wax, etc..
AZ RANGER replied to AZ RANGER's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I ended up taking them back to cabelas and getting a 10.5 in reg width. After a couple of days of wearing them I realized that the problem was that they were too big. My foot was sliding too far forward and this was causing the sides of my foot to hit too far in the front of the boot. They also loosened up alot in those two days. These boots appear to run on the big side. I am going to put them to the test in the morning on a scouting trip in 27 for a buddies late WT hunt. -

Well I ended up with the perfekt hunters. I spent about 1.5 hrs trying these the denali and the perfekt hikers on and walking around. The hikers just did not have enough ankle support so they were out. The Denali seemed too tall, it felt unnatural walking in them. The perfekt hunter got the nod, but I am not sure what to think about them at the moment. They felt good in the store, a little stiff but I figured that was natural. I have been wearing them for the last 6 hours and the left foot feels great, very comfortable. My right foot however is not feeling good. It feels like the boot is not wide enough, but only on one foot. The bones on the outside of my right foot are hurting. I am not sure what to do. The size I picked up was 11EE(wides). I tried on the 11.5 but it was too big. I am going to wear them for the next three days while I am in Sedona for a conference. If they don't give me any relief in the right foot I will have to take them back on Thursday when I go back through Phoenix. I live a long ways from cabelas so I won't have another chance to reutrn them for a while. My right foot is a little bigger but it has'nt been a problem with other shoes. I hope these loosen up I really like them. Anyone know where can I try on the Kenetreks in Phoenix? As far as socks go I picked up some cabelas light hiker dri-release wool/nylon blend. Also got the Obenauf's wax. I really like the sock so far.
