    Trappers let see that fur

Try a trash pile set with a cat gland lure. Basically make a cubby hole with one entrance, and toss some gland lure in the very back. I'm not the best at footholds. Try to PM Hyperwrx He is alot better than I am and is way more successful.

What kind of trap are you using? What kind of lure/bait? If you can adjust your pan tension on the pan to about 3 lbs that would help. Stay away from fishy lures/baits. Any pictures of your set up?

    Trappers let see that fur

It's against the law to trap lions. I have had a lion circle one of my traps and walk away. Bob Small's cages were designed to keep lions from destrying the trap and killing bobcats inside the trap for the people up north. His traps have caught and held lions.

    Trappers let see that fur

Bob Small's from http://www.briarpatchcages.com/ and Mercer Lawing from http://www.cagingbobcats.com/ Those are the best two cages IMHO Both catch cats. Bob's are stronger.

    ????? Will a lion scavenge????

Coues Sniper is right. Alot of people think lions will not eat something they did not kill. They are wrong....

    What is this?

Trap. They are getting them used to going into the trap for the food. When they are used to it then it will be made into a functioning trap. IMO

Thanks Scott. I had a great teacher. Its just a little Mylar bracelet. I run it through the eye to mouth to hang from the fur hanger.

I have nothing to compare against Scott. I have released 3 cats so far along with 2 fox. 2 cats were kittens, and the other was a large sow bellied female. The 2 fox were young.

    G&F Catchment Tank Book

I got mine in 04 I believe from the Yuma office. Go to huntunits.com Pay the $20 and and pic a unit. It has pages of tanks, ponds, seaps, springs ect...... Plus you can go back to the site and review past orders and re-print what you have purchased.

    hauling elk question

No. On the side of the tag is a transport permit. Your dad fills it out with the person he chooses to transport his elk.

    What is this???

Not sure if its a two birds or a bird and something trying to grab it... There are fox and possibly some bobcats around. Thoughts????
  25. Hypewrx has it right. If you sell your bobcat pelt you need the $3 CITES tag no matter what. Here is a pic of the free tags required to get the CITES tag. You can pick them up at any G&F The larger portion goes on the cat, and the smaller portion goes on the lower jaw (if it is a trapped cat)
