I just set up the trail cam today. I will pick it up after the first weekend next month, on my way home from my hpoe to be sucessful bear hunt...

I have a buddy in the Payson area that has a problem with the local wildlife eating EVERYTHING but the peach tree...I know its the javilina, deer and a elk or two. Any suggestions on how to convince them to stay away? I will be setting up my trail camera this week on his back porch to be sure what I'm dealing with...

Ahhh... The old Chevy vs. Ford question... I shoot Rage. I have watched everything I have shot with them fall is less than 35 yards (mullie,coues,coyote,and a bobcat). What I dont like about them is, when I pull them out of my quiver sometimes the blades will catch and open up costing me seconds, and some time the game will see you. I just started shooting Blood Runner. I like them. It shoots like a feild point for me. I have to wait till January to see the damange on a deer. Gook luck on choosing your heads. Just got back Sunday from Kohls Ranch. Every morning and evening there was a WT doe with twins not 40 yards from the back door of my cabin. We heard bulls singing every evining... On the last day,(Saturday night) the wife, daughter, and I went for a walk by the horse pens and saw a HUGE 9pt coues. I had the daughter in a back pack and the wife had the camera. I was telling her to take the pic but she thought the horned lizard was more intersting

Well I'm a little embaresed to post my pic. This is my 1st and only coues. He will not be my last. I spotted him with 2 others at 140 yards. after 40 min and 2 hill tops, they were all at 40-47 yards. the 2 bigger ones were behind bushes and looking me in the eye. This little one was at 43 yards and in the open when my arrow cut his heart in half. He olny went 17 yards and fell. Awsome!!!

Well I received my coueswhitetail.com sticker in the mail. I told the wife I was going to wash the truck and put it on... Well she sends me to the store in her pilot, and when I get back, the sticker is already on... There was a mishap putting it on my truck. I will send off for anotherone after we spend a week at Kohls Ranch. I think it increased the value of my truck...Cant really see it; but there is a creaseall the way through Whitetail.

Good luck to ya. My dad and I are going up to Colorado for buffalo in Oct. He thinks he is the lucky one for pulling the trigger; but I'm the lucky one for being there with him. Will post pics later. Take a kid or your dad hunting...Good luck again...
