There are some forest service employees in the towers that have some dogs. I know some go on walks with them when they are not required to be in the tower. Just a thought.

Anyone see any elk around the the Winslow/Holbrook or the Almo Lake area? I have never been to those places and am looking for tips?

Went up Tuesday and came back Wednesday afternoon. Saw some elk, deer, turkey and a fire that was Northwest of globe East of the 288.I could see the flames about 8 miles away, and watched as 2 helicopters with buckets dumped roosevelt water on it for about an hour. The sheds I found I thought were a match set from the deer I call Big Boy. After further review of all his pics, the right antler is not his. Big boy's G3 has a kicker and the antler in hand does not. I did get his left antler with the 3 kickers. The mixed matched set still grossed just over 113.(thanks Clay for scoring them) Enjoy the pics. I like the color of the bear. I hope to get rid of this little female lion that's hanging around.

I think that truck belongs to the G&F guy behind the counter at the Mesa office.

There was one dead between Superior and Claypool on Tuesday morning around the Top of The World.

Grandma and Grandpa bought Lyndi (Baby bowhunt)her first fishing pole about 2 months ago. We decided to give it a try. We hit water Ranch about 6:15pm. By 6:30 we were leaving. There were fish carcasses all over the bottom of the pond where we were at, and the place really smelled bad... I spent more time fixing her Miney Mouse reel than anything else. She was still able to reel in her first big one!!!

My mom just called and told me that my grandma had a stroke. She is in the hospital. She is paralyzed and can not talk. I leave for Indiana tomorrow night on the red eye. James T.

The wife finally went with me to check the cameras. One was missing, but at least the nice person left me a note thanking me for the camera..... Nicole was able to see her first live elk. I was able to sneek us into about 50 yards of 6 cows feeding. We saw 4 Coues. found one little dink shed. Had a great time except for the stolen camera. how big do you think he might go???

The date is correct. There is 2 smaller ones still sporting head gear. We saw them both this past Saturday.There are 4 other bucks with little nubs growing.

Came around a corner to see this big tom bobcat just sitting in the road Same cat after I watched him mark a bush. He sat there for 5 minutes watching me then just walked away 4 trout in the stream. I will bring one or two home this weekend Little frog found in a tank Caught this doe in mid-air. Thought it was pretty cool.
