    3rd bear attack

Any sows the Game and Fish kill count toward the unit's annual quota. Note 2 from the Regs 2. When the number of female bears equaling the female harvest limit for a particular hunt has been reported killed, by either hunters or the Department, the unit(s) will be closed atsundownthe Wednesday immediately following. Hunters are responsible for calling 1-800-970-BEAR (2327) before hunting to determine if their desired hunt unit is still open. The female harvest limit is combined for Unit 35A/35B and Fort Huachuca hunts, and both hunts will close when the female harvest limit is reached for Unit 35A/35B.
  3. I went fishing last night and caught nothing but carp. I had a 2 strong hits but missed them on waterdogs. I’m not going fishing for awhile, so I was wondering if anyone wanted some ineffective waterdogs? They are 5-6 inches long, and there is 9-10 of them left. I’m on McKellips Rd. between Lindsay and Val Vista across from Tia Rosa Mexican Restaurant. So if you want them just come take them. Bring a bucket. Call first. James T. 480-516-3743

    New member to the site,

for Archery you can just get the Archery tag. You have to apply for a gun tag. If you get drawn for a gun tag, you still CAN hunt the archery season BUT if you tag a deer in the Archery season, your rifle tag is now no good. In Arizona you are allowed one deer a year.

    Is this lion sign?

The black pile was found 3 feet from the scrape. I have found the same piles with in a 10 yard square at this same spot. It had elk fur in it with large bone fragments. The LeatherMen is 7 inches long

    trail camera placement

IMO they did that to discourage people (tree huggers) from messing with their camera. You can put anything you want on your camera or lock box.

    Mechanical or Fixed Broadhead

I agree with all of this. The animals I've killed with 2 blade Rages looked like a hatchet went through them. They also fly just like field points. However, I've drawn on and elk and pigs and had to let down multiple times due to Rages prematurley opening in the quiver or on my stalk. Needless to say, I'm a fixed blade guy now. If you don't move much (ie hunt from a stand or blind) I am a huge fan of Rages. If you are a spot and stalk guy and move a lot, go fixed blade. That all being said, almost any broadhead will work fine for deer. The differences between most broadheads are marketing gimmicks IMHO. I agree. When I'm in a stand I use Rage. On the ground I use Slick Trick. This is the buck I took in August with a Rage. I missed the heart and lungs. It still did the job. He ran about 140 yards. It was impossible not to see the blood trail. Bowhuntaz1 if that is your entrance hole and you missed the heart and lungs I'm curious what was inside that deer? Filled with blood. The arrow sliced the muscle on the leg rendering it useless. I watched him drag it until out of site, about 80 yards. I cut its artery on the leg. The arrow was lodged in the breast bone for about 30 yards until it hit the tree.

If I do hunt from a tree stand or blind I am going to made the investment.....its well worth it from this picture. That is the ENTRY hole not the exit...
