100 Books every man should read

Yes i am going to read Bills book soon. I've heard nothing but praise from everyone here. There are some books on this list that have had influence over the course of history. The Bible is also on this list, it is by far the most influential book in all of the world. Societies have attempted to eradicate it many times, and still exist today. Its not only a guide for how a man should live, but treat others around him. There are people that risk their lives to obtain one page of it. Similar to every topic the list is should be take with a grain of salt, however I advise you to look at the entire list. I would not critique something knowing a quarter of the material. There are students that do it all the time at the UofA. It happens in every class from my industrial engineering classes to historical courses.

This sounds pretty familiar............ "No civilian is to have a firearm without a permit and permits will not be issued to [persons] suspected of acting against the state. For Jews this permission will not be granted. Those people who do not require permission to purchase or carry weapons [include] the whole SS and SA, including the Death's Head group and officers of the Hitler Youth." 100 Books every man should read

This is by far not "Thee ordained list" sent from heaven to earth by far. Every man's library will be different but there will be similarities among our favorites. Just throw out novels that you guys appreciate.

100 Books every man should read

Yeah Lance there is probably 10-15 high school litetature that could be fanned out of the hundred and replaced by other germane novels. Lets hear some of these better books? I have read some of the high school books in here that I choose not to read again. These are separate from the recent ten novels I mentioned in my first post.

    May And June TC Pics

That Sucks man! Its a ballsy move having faith on putting it on a G&F catchment tank. Those are on every map, is that the one that got stolen or the other one off one of that retention pond with the bear in it? Ive got a couple cams out in the field right now down south on aquifers, and some granite pools in canyons, none taken yet but those dang cows(and bears) will mess with it if they see it. Good Luck on your elk hunt man! Great photos too!

In 2010 the rancher put 100 head of cows in the corals and last year he shut the water off, I hope there is no complications this year. Yeah thats for sure. I hunt in a different deer unit in January and I hunt with my buddy who has cow tanks and we run a generator to keep them filled. We get great results, deer, yotes, and fellow conservationist hikers haha.

    Sunflower Fire...how it started

Thats awesome that you caught them. I hope you got/get a reward Don't want a reward. The whole thing is ugly. I just look forward to the monsoon to squelch this fire so the area "may" open up again. I am anxious to check my camera, or what's left of it, and get back to scouting. It makes me sick to read some of the idiotic comments posted at the bottom of the online news articles. Emotion and lack of intelligence from people obviously not from AZ, Libs, heck.....even racist comments.....huh? Being a father of two sons in their mid-20's, I have mixed feelings about the young man that was arrested. Yup, I'm pissed that my favorite coues area burned up. Yup, it was REALLY stupid what he did. On one hand, he broke the law, and there are penalties. On the other hand, I guess I have some sympathy.....he may be a good kid, just got a little crazy (been there done that). I pray he can get past this, all these boys learn a lesson, and he can move on. Tomorrow all of us hunters, intellectuals, conservative men will be celebrating independence day. The libs will be celebrating dependence day. -Man Law 48

Here is what I got two weeks ago! Are the bottom photos whitetail? The pics i have show antler growth similar to what soccer star said 2-3 inch stubs. There are still nearly eight weeks left till opening weekend should put the horn on quite a bit if monsoons prevail. The last pic is Mule Deer, I get both at those locations. Yeah right on thats what i thought. Haven't seen any muley growth because Im mostly above 3500 ft they seem to be doing well. What is the coolest thing you've had walk into that waterhole?

    My 2012 Crazy Bear Hunt

Right on man! Glad you got your bear back (half your bear back) yeah i wouldn't of gone all the way down into that mineshaft either. Are you thinking about doing a rug mount still or a half mount like the bear walking out of the wall? The bears are definetly moving i had a young blonde one on my cam i went and got out of the woods yesterday followed by a Sow and her two cubs a couple days later.

    My 2012 Crazy Bear Hunt

Hey Lance how many years did it take you to draw a spring bear tag for down south?
  19. Yeah man hunting and scouting is that much better when you get to leave the University and get out of town. I lived in Eloy on my families farm and was in 37a all the time in the Silverbells and Mt. Newman sometimes straying onto the indian reservation. Now im lucky to get out of Tucson once a semester. Thats a heck of a bull on a depravation hunt! Munds park is a nice place man good luck in the fall draw. Welcome aboard to CW also lot of good knowledgeable folks on here.
  20. Hey PassDaBlunt i think you owe me some money from one of those online poker games. Haha us poor college kids barely have enough money for CHick-Fila much less playing the mens game. Welcome man! By the looks of your post you've tagged out on your fair share of game. What hopes did you throw into the deer/sheep draw this fall? Do you hunt mostly up north and the white tanks or make your way down south also?
  21. We had this discussion during Medical Ethics at the U of A this spring. Points were brought up (by the few intellectual students) that healthcare needs to say privatized. Government manipulation, and influence in the private sector has never essentially sowed up the wound but puts a temporary band aid on the issue. Billions of dollars is poured into healthcare research. I have worked at the USDA ARS Lab (Arid Land Research Service) the government is very short of competent. The only government agency that yields a profit annually is the Postal Service. The individual mandate is a violation of constitutional rights, an individual should not be forced to buy healthcare insurance. If an individual is healthy, exercises and eats properly and chooses not to invest in personal healthcare for his/herself and chooses to spend the money elsewhere he or she should not be held to a financial penalty. Life saving health care should remain, provided by hospitals. However, healthcare is a commodity, and not a basic need. Basic Needs for survival, are food, water and shelter. Obama was delusional thinking that the current U.S. government financial budget for the annual fiscal year could handle covering healthcare. The government almost shut down last year because they could not figure out the 2012 fiscal year budget and America wants to put one of the best healthcare systems in the world in the hands of worthless old idealist bureaucrats? Does he think he is going to cut Defense, ICE or Border Patrol funding? The next step is that the government will pay 40 cents or less to the dollar for healthcare services cutting doctors, nurses, pharmacists, office employees, second and third party pharmaceutical, and healthcare providers salaries. Financial insensitive, and competition breeds productivity. Thats the first lesson in Capitalism. What government office is proficient at anything? Has anyone ever been to the Social Security office or IRS offices its efficiency is dam near below zero, and they do the bare minimum to get by. With financial incentive that gives individuals a mentality that with hard work, one can better himself. With salary systems individuals do the bare minimum to get by, because why do a fantastic surgery when i can do an average one and get paid the same? Healthcare is a self sustaining entity and with Obamacare it will cut corners, produce mediocre care, and every talented doctor will practice in emerging countries like Australia, Dubai, Virgin Islands and Indonesia that do not restrict healthcare salaries.

    Snakes are out!

I've seen some big snakes before, but that exceeds the one I saw was shy of eight feet yours is nearly ten plus. I believe it, there are some huge rattlesnakes that live along the San Pedro and grow that big, because of a lot of natural cover, good consistent food sources, and lack of predation.

Locked gate on state trust land

Audsley, we are only at half-time. There is a lot of work ahead and it would be nice to get a head count of the guys that would be willing to accompany me if I can get a meeting with some of the Commissioners of AZGFD. I will be calling Matt tomorrow to get a progress report on his efforts. Next step is the request for the sit down. Hey ElkHunter, I myself hunt in Southern Az also and my truck is getting a repower at my dads diesel shop(Cummins Conversion) but, I would for sure work with you any way i could to assist in these locked gate problems, pitch in for gas, bring water and help mapout locked gates. Let me know.
