Hey lonne, it all depends on what camera it is man. I know the trend for everything the more expensive the better, seems to be true in Trailcams also. I was given my first one last year around December for Christmas. It was a Primos Truthcam 35 worked well all January, and three months this summer. Then during the monsoons i waited for a clear day to set it up. Went and set it up, seemed like it rained on and off for 2 weeks strait went back three weeks later and it had toasted. Something to do with moisture getting into the SD card slot and ruining the cam. It was a bummer, and luckily it was still under warranty so I sent it back to Primos a month ago and was told they were out of stock and i would receive one when their was availability. I hate stuff that is unreliable like to the core, if its not reliable then its useless to me because the time you need something the most is when it breaks. I will buy only Stealthcam,(possibly bushnell), Covert, Cuddiebak, Reconx from now on. My camera was out in snow down in southern units and performed well, during Dec,Jan it seems rain is the silent killer

Another example of bad hunting ethics

There was nothing wrong at all Scotty with your initial post, people are crazy out there. Heck If my family still owned our farm in Eloy I would've leased out a good spot for the days you wanted to hunt. -
Question from a Kid

Way to make it happen on a good shot pine donkey! Obviously they couldn't do the same. -
Forest Service= Government which = a bunch of incompetent people with badges.

I'm no expert but the muscle on that cat definitely makes him look like a Tom. Great pictures congrats on your success this year.

Best Etiquette for a Squatter
reganranch replied to abovethecoues's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Well said man that is exactly the type of hunter that gets all our privileges revoked on property in various units. There also the same type of bastards that check/steal trailcams. -
Good luck down there kazpilot stay safe man hunting/future scouting trips.

Great looking bucks! Good luck to you the next two weeks.

Guns have to enemies rust and politicians. -
Not a bad idea to take your biggest long range rifle and a small ghillie in your pack if you want to disappear.

Great buck he's got a tall rack.

Hey kazpilot I would expect the buck to stay fairly close to the area you found him in. If hunting pressures remains small to none. Is there a jr hunt before your October rifle in 36B? If not you are in good shape if there is ample water nearby. I have hunted by Douglas really close to the border in heavily brush area, I have glassed up illegals(worthless trespassing sob's) with drug packs, and no obvious rifles were seen(pistols probably safe to assume someone had one) They were a good ways away, I doubt they saw us we were on the dark side of the mountain at sun rise looking west. BP came over the top of us and we told them that their were illegals booking it up this drainage they said that they had seen them also and there were other agents responding to catch up with them on the other side. This was also during the December hunt close to Chritmas and trafficking is slower closer to Christmas. I would keep a side arm handy keep your wits about you look around and be cautious. I stay away from the washes when hiking into the back country there are more encounters here then up on the mountains.

SCI Jr. Camp 2011 36A SUCCESS!!

Congrats on your sons great buck! -
If this country wasn't so left and weak we could put billboards up in mexico a couple months ahead saying sneaking over into this beautiful country will no longer happen, IF YOU TRESPASS ILLEGALLY INTO THE USA WE WILL ENGAGE LETHALLY. Have posts all along the border with tanks/humvee's/apaches/predators and a couple of them will not take hede to the warning and will perish, but after a couple weeks they would get the message.

Dove hunting
reganranch replied to Sundevil99's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I used to go down Ironwood rd until I had to be more concerned with getting shot, it wasnt any fun anymore. Maybe gold canyon or queen valley area. People during dove season are scary.....more so then the snowbirds driving a Class A motor home. -

What did the rain do last week in your unit Speedy? I ended up spotting and stockn with my buddy because the natural spring we had planned on sitting there was a ton of erosion/sand on top of the first couple pools. I couldn't believe it rained that much probably a good 2 feet of sand in the wash where it was before.
